We bought this over a month ago. After just a few days of use, my husband and I both experienced greatly increased back pain. It is way too soft. No support at all. In addition, it slides all over the bed. I have to remove the bottom sheet and adjust it each time I make the bed. It's super heavy, so that is a very difficult task.

I was skeptical about this topper at first and the price deterred me from buying it but I needed a mattress topper and have tried (and returned) others and I was desperate for comfort. Very pleasantly surprised with the comfort level! Only time will tell though if it is worth the price. It certainly is an investment. At this point, I do recommend it.

Im not a "natural" person or anything. I've had toppers before that had chemical smells, they all went away after a couple of weeks. This one? OMG. TWO months and it is STILL smelling very chemical-like. I give up... the headaches are constant and it's caused a couple of mild asthma episodes. Luckily, Sams will take it back. Glad they have a decent return policy.

I bought the CA king size and based my purchase on the reviews. I already thought Serta was a reliable brand, this topper is like sleeping on a cloud! No more morning back pain no tossing and turning! The reviews were spot on! The packaging was good, the odor wasn’t that bad, ours fluffed up almost immediately- no complaints. The price for this was fantastic. Would recommend.

First order the mattress was defective. A section in middle of mattress on egg crate side had sharp edges. It appeared foam melted then cooled resulting in sharp edges. Foam peeled apart too. Took myself and son in law to get it rolled up and back in box. Sam's arranged pickup. Replacement seems ok. Find it comfortable and cool so far.

We’ve had two other memory foam toppers and they aren’t even close to this one. I’m laying in bed as I write this review, and I haven’t been this comfortable in years! I have back and hip issues, and the past few months have been miserable. I didn’t look forward to going to bed because I knew I was as facing another long night of tossing and turning trying to find a comfortable sleep position. My husband and I put this topper on yesterday and I was praying this would be a solution. I woke up very well rested, and the sheets and blankets aren’t totally destroyed after constant rustling around all night. I’m sooo glad we chose this one! Looking forward to many more restful nights sleep ahead.

I slept so well on bed the first night I purchased this. There was a slight smell but it was bearable. However it went away the second day. I would definitely recommend this product. It is so super comfy! It makes you feel like you have a brand new bed.

I have been using the Serta 4 inch memory foam mattress topper for many years. I bought them for my sons dorm bed too. I am currently moving and will be leaving my king size bed with topper to my son and daughter in law (they are super happy) I’m downsizing to a queen sized mattress. The best thing about it is I know I don’t have to go spend a ton on a mattress because I have seen this Serta mattress topper turn the oldest, hardest mattress into a sleeping heaven!! They have saved me thousands of dollars on new mattresses, just by adding the Serta topper to the old mattress. I will never own a bed without this topper. Looking for a nice gift to give someone?? This mattress topper will last them for many years AND upgrade their old mattress tremendously!

Bought for a very firm memory foam bed that we have on our RV. Unwrapped and placed on the bed, put the cover on and tested it out. I fell asleep right away and did not want to get up. Love the zip cover. Serta 4 inch with pillow top. Really want one for the bed at home now.

I bought this, because my husband was complaining that the mattress was too firm. I put it on and yes, it is soft, but the smell of strong chemicals is so much, that it is hard to get over it. I would hope that the smells gets out or it will have to be a return.
