Red Bull gave me the extra boost I needed while playing disc golf - improving an already great game. The flavor is similar to bubble gum, I found it to be sweet and different from other energy drink flavors while not being too over powering. The aftertaste was very sweet and long lasting. Overall, I found Red Bull Energy Drink to be both sweet and refreshing. I can now understand why Red Bull is so popular!

I think the regular version makes me way too jittery, which is why I only gave it 3 stars. After seeing friends and colleagues drinking it over the years, I finally had the opportunity to give this a taste. The Red Bull commercial saying of ‘Red Bull gives you wings' has always been stuck in my mind and I can see why that is their slogan now. I drink at the start of my workday and got a big energy boost from the caffeine content. The taste is good and has a good amount of fizz as it's a carbonated drink. I see why it is so popular among the working population to get an extra energy boost.

I was able to drink this quickly (less than an hour) without feeling like I was chugging a drink for the sake of getting my caffeine intake, and the energy burst was noticeable and lasted for most of the day. I liked that the energy wasn't an all-at-once, heart racing jolt. It was more of a consistent extra boost. I will say the flavor isn't my favorite, though. While it's definitely drinkable, I wouldn't go out of my way to have this drink for the flavor. It is very intense and sweet, almost in a bubblegum-like way.
