I have tried several pods and this is one of my favorites. If you like a medium blend with very good taste with no bitterness, this is the coffee for you! I can't tell you how glad I am to have found this. Every cup is exactly as good as the last. If you still aren't sure, buy a small box(Wont be as cheap per cup) and try it. That is what i did. Then I bought the 100 count box and have been enjoying my coffee every morning(and sometimes evening). I don't pride myself as a coffee expert. But I do enjoy a good cup of coffee. Been drinking coffee for 30+ years. Just try it. You won't regret it.

I'm not sure how this coffee has gone from being one of the best K-Cup coffees around, to what it is today. How it makes it out of product testing is beyond me. Used to be a nice dark roast with lots of flavor, but a sweetness like one would expect from a donut shop coffee. Now it's not even worth commenting on.

I have bought this flavor a few times, in the 12 pack box, but the last 2 boxes I have bought seem to have defective seals around the top of the K-cup. On average, 1/4 of the K-cups end up busting open during the brewing process. I bought a pack of Gevalia K-cups, thinking it could be my machine, but none of those broke open...it has only been the Donut Shop cups. This coffee has pretty good flavor for a medium roast, but I will not continue to buy these packs because of the mess it creates in my Keurig Elite machine. I hope this problem gets resolved soon so money and time wont be wasted with these K-cups.

I bought this product and thought it would be great but I do not like the taste. It is too strong. I like to use French Vanilla creamer and in order to get a milder taste, I would have to use more creamer which in turn cooled the coffee down too much and made it warm instead of hot.

This one isn't for the Starbuck's crowd who like that extra bite at the end of each sip. This is just a good, consistent, fresh tasting cup of coffee. Perfect choice for everyday brewing. Holds up well under larger 9.25 cup brewing as well. I've been drinking black coffee for about 25 years and I must say that this coffee tasted familiar to me from the very 1st taste. That is the hallmark of a coffee that you want every day.

This was the first coffee I ever tried in my Keurig machine. This is one of a dozen different k-cups included with the machine. I liked the name of this one, and it had a neat design on the cover - a donut. Anyhow, I brewed a big cup of it and gave it a shot. Me, I add sugar and milk to my coffee (we don't have cream at home). And I have to ssay, this coffee tastes almost exactly what you'd find at an old diner along some forgotten highway. It has that very general taste too it - not heavy at all - very average but - that's what I like. But I did detect a slight bitterness after each sip. It is smooth at first but it gives you a little nip on your tongue on the way down. But - overall I liked it.

I've never had an issue with K-cups in the past. The first morning after buying the Donut Shop K-cups, I went through 4 of them! They must be made with a cheap material because the top/ bottom of the cups kept breaking. I have gone through a whole case in less than a week due to coffee grains being in every cup I make. Poorly made and waste of money.

I'm usually a Dark Magic fan but was finding it a bit strong for summer. This one, Donut Shop Original, is a perfect replacement for now. It's plenty strong without being too much. It has a good flavor and no odd or bitter aftertaste. Love it and may even turn into a permanent ongoing purchase for me.

I agree with Steve from Boston's review about the little hint of bitterness on your tongue after the coffee goes down. That's my only issue with this one. Other than that I love it, and so far is my favorite that I've tried so far. It's got a nice medium roast, not too light, not too strong. Just right with a smooth flavor and full bodied taste. I drink it with Splenda and half and half. I probably drink 2 to 3 cups of this particular flavor a day! :-X

This has become my favorite K-cup product after just the first cup! I grew up in southern NJ and "greasy spoon" diners were found in just about every neighboring town. The coffee served in these diners was perfect! I could sit and drink that coffee for hours. Now that I have my Keurig, I can enjoy the much-loved coffee once again by drinking Original Donut Shop extra bold blend. I'm a fan of flavored creamers, but even with just milk or plain cream, the flavor of this coffee comes pleasantly through. Rich, full, a fantastic aroma as it brews - I can literally drink this all day without the typical upset stomach from the acid in other coffees, even those made by a couple of famous name brands. If you have a friend who has a new Keurig, this would make an exceptional gift...that is, if they're not already drinking this fine coffee!
