Bought this in hopes of shaking my St**bks habit and have been in search of a bold enough brew. Had my hopes up but this blend is definitely NOT it. I'm drinking it thinking, "am I cracking up or is there just NOT a bold keurig?" Decided to have a friend 'taste test' me with my normal Bold Roast from coffee house. Was I just wanting the 'name' and the familiar paper cup? BZZZZ. NOPE! Actually, when I drank this k-cup next to my 'normal' brew, it almost tasted like TEA! As a FYI., Normally drink my coffee with a touch of sweetner and cream. Ultimately I'd say fine for the 'eye opening' cup, first thing in the morning, but no way will satisfy after that.

We use these K-cups and I am pretty sure there isn't a better cup of coffee. I love Dunkin Donuts but you can only get the k-cups at a DD store and they are more expensive. Donut Shop has made a GREAT cup of coffee. Easy to drink, tastes just like you want coffee to taste. Really love it!

My husband and I love a bold but not bitter or burnt tasting cup of coffee. This is what we have come to expect from a cup of coffee, being from Louisiana where chicory coffees of New Orleans are the gold standard to us. In our experience, most "extra bolds" equal burnt/bitter...but not this one. It is fantastic. If you like this one you may also enjoy the Full City or vice versa.

I have been a Keurig coffee user for 2 years. Donut shop and Donut shop decaf were my very favorite coffees. I still rely on Donut shop decaf to get me through my coffee needs during the day, but Donut shop regular is not as full-flavored as it was a year ago. I still like it, but went searching for something bolder and found Folgers Black Silk. It has the full flavor I love in the morning, but it isn't over-powering. I am ordering Donut shop dark to see if it will be bold and not bitter. I would recommend Donut shop regular to a friend if they liked mild coffee. It isn't bad, just not exciting to get my day started!

I loved this coffe I even went so far to buy a huge box from big box store spent $40 dollars something I've never done before. The coffee was terrible nothing like the ones I brought out of the store. I thought it was a bad batch since I can't stomach the tast I brought small packages from two different stores tasted fine but the last box I brought tasted the same as big box chain store. I realize there must have been a formula change or bad quality control. Will no longer waste my money buying anymore. It was the only coffee I ever liked for Keurig. Going back to my percolator.

I have had a Keurig Vue and used The Donut Shop Vue cups. The aroma and flavor was wonderful! Now I have the K Cup brewer and the The Donut Shop K Cups do not smell or taste anything like the Vue version. I cannot even get a good cup when making a small cup of coffee. No flavor, no aroma. No reason to buy it anymore.

This blend is not special or to write home about but it is tasty and this is why I rated it 4 stars. For a medium roast, Original Donut Shop blend does have flavor and is bold enough to enjoy. It is not acidic or bitter. A nice coffee to have anytime of day; also, this is tasty and enjoyable. I would buy again for times when I want a nice, mild cup of coffee but stronger than a light roast.

I have tried many types of K-cups but this is my favorite by far. Smooth, rich flavor that gives a kick. This is the first bold flavor blend that I enjoyed. I do tend to get a few grounds in my cup but I can usually get them out. If you need a jolt in the morning, or mid-afternoon this is the one for you.

Have tried other bold brews but keep returning to Original Donut Shop. I don't experience any unpleasant after taste. Recommend to new commers to the Keurig world. It's a really full, all around tasty brew. My guests all ask what coffee they are drinking.

This use to be MY favorite coffee and when I ordered the last box, it tasted terrible! I called and was told only the label changed - not so!I I thought it was just me, but after reading other reviews I know now it isn't just me! I want the one I have been ordering for over two years now. I guess I will have to now look elsewhere :(
