The club was out of the contractor bags so I tried these. What a waste, if you put more than tissue paper in these I think they will rip. I cannot see getting 80 gal of trash in these without ripping. Also, the Sam's response for other reviews was the raw materials are the same but the process changed. As a Packaging Engineer, 50% or more of plastics/bag tear resistance and strength are in the process. R&D should rethink process on this one. I realize the bag market is super competitive, where I always liked overall(& still like Sam's) compared to other clubs because you pay a few nickles more for a superior product & yet less than other retailers. I hope this is not a trend for Sam's given the poor economy.

I've been using these for a while now. They are very durable and hold a lot of trash.

The box arrived wet and crushed. The 2 rolls of trash bags were completely out of the box.

Been ordering these for quite awhile and they always stand up to being a strong trash bag!

The new bags are much less durable than the old & tear easily.

Bought these for our church Cafe. They are NOT leak proof. Even when doubled. We need leak proof bags.

I have been using these bags for the better part of 20 years. In that time I have seen them get thinner and thinner and increase in price. In the last box every bag had a run in the side, filling them with only leaves and they tear, they weren't even full. Disappointing to see the quality get so bad, these used to be the best option around......

I bought these back in Nov (2020) during pandemic (when stockage of items was limited); I did not use until Apr 2021. Was loading clothing for Goodwill into bags; noticed some small flakes on my hardwood floors in kitchen. Had to take my fingernail and scratch flakes off floor (would not come off with sweeping). Didn't know what was happening. Then 4 days later used more bags to cover my ferns on porch from frost. Again I saw small black flakes. Realized the flakes were coming off bags and probably a factory defect. Tried to take the bags back to Sam's; they would not allow because there is a 30-day policy. I absolutely will NOT buy again; 30-day policy stinks!!!! I will go to the other major warehouse store (that has an unlimited day return policy) and purchase items (even though it's an hour drive away). Lesson learned--30 day policy stinks!!!! and will not purchase any items again at Sam's (even though convenient) unless I plan to use immediately!!!
