This will often allow the trapped moisture to escape. It’s certainly disappointing to have trouble opening the container and then have the handle break while trying to do so. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience. One thing that may help when opening the container is to first press the valve on the lid to release any pressure that has built up inside. Once the pressure is released, the lid should twist off more easily. That said, we understand that the handle breaking is not something you should have had to deal with.
