Don't buy this if you hope to vacuum your rug. It's beautiful and soft but we will have to part ways with it as it's too big to put in our laundry and we can't vacuum it at all.

I got this as a replacement for a rug in my living room that has seen better days. Have two small children and the rug receives a lot of traffic. I also have a small dog that occasionally likes to relieve himself on it. I've had to break out the carpet cleaner many times over the last 5 years and it was time to get something different. The previous carpet was gray but I have blue accents in my living room so I decided to go with the blue version of this carpet. It arrived in a box all folded up and I thought it was going to be a very cheap looking carpet. I was mistaken. I laid it out and within a short period of time most of the folds had disappeared. The color was muted as I expected and the overall pattern was very pleasing. I ordered the 9x12 version. The back of the rug has a rubber backing which I think will serve me well when the dog decides to pee on it. It's also machine washable but I think you'll have to take it to a laundromat for that as it is quite large. Looking forward to seeing how it wears.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this rug. The 9'X12' size is huge and just exactly what I needed for my house. The rug itself is very soft and comfortable, and I would highly recommend this washable rug to anyone looking to upgrade a room in their house. I ordered this online and wasn't sure if the color I selected would work, but it is much more beautiful in person and the pattern works perfectly as well.

When I first felt the surface of this rug, I forgot for a moment that it was a rug! It was so soft that i wanted to roll up in it! Coziness aside, it is a beautiful rug. It really goes with our furniture with the rust and grey tones throughout. It also has a built in rubber backing, so no slippage. This rug is different than what I thought as it did not come in a giant roll for it's 9X12 size but folded like a blanket in a box-very heavy. It does look like it will stand up to a lot of wear and tear.

This is such a great rug It has a incredibly soft feel which feels great when I go barefoot. It is a nice thickness. I didn't want a rug that was too thick that could be easily tripped over. The neutral gray and beige pattern goes great in our family room.

This rug is incredibly soft. It feels well made which is excellent since i have animals and children. I definitely should have consulted with my partner before choosing a size because its huge. But thats on me. I definitely don't think it would fit a standard sized washing machine.

This rug is great for a home with pets and/or kids. It’s more blue burgundy than the picture shows, and definitely is too heavy to wash at home but is washable. I usually buy 8x10 rugs, so 9x12 is a lot more floor coverage than I’m used too. I did struggle a little bit to vacuum at high speed, my Dyson kept stopping as it sucked in part of the rug. I lowered the speed and it kinda helped but with someone with a dog I just wish I can keep my vacuum at high speed. All in all it’s okay since I know I can wash it. My concerns are after washing the ends is it going to curl up on the ends and should I really dry in dryer? I have a runner in the same material and it curls up for a day or two but it’ll settle and flatten down. I dry it outside too, so we will see how that goes. All in all I think it’s great for my home and will save me a lot of money on carpet cleaning.

Please think long and hard about purchasing this rug. After buying numerous rugs from Sams, had total confidence in purchasing this rug. Would love to return it but haven't found it in my purchase history even though every purchase is made with a Sam's card. Have only been using it two or three months and it is a hot mess. It can NOT be vacuumed. Even bought another type vacuum, but it just wads up. This rug should come with a TRIP HAZARD WARNING. Every time you walk on it much less dare to move a chair and inch, it wads up and trips people. Even bought a pad and put underneath, still wads. This is my first negative review so that speaks volumes. I would really appreciate someone in customer service contacting me. Thank you for reading.

My initial reaction when opening the box was “wow! This is SO soft!” It makes such a difference when you have a rug that you would be willing to nap on. I strongly recommend this rug for the print options, softness, durability, and convenience of being washable.

I have the rust pattern 9x12 foot rug and I love the size, softness, colors, and pattern. It’s really beautiful! The only downside is that my vacuum doesn’t glide well over it. Not sure why, I’m guessing because of the flexible, machine-washable backing. Mine is too large to put in my home washer, but I will note that I think it’s easier to spot clean than any other rugs I’ve learned. Other than the vacuum weirdness, it’s a great rug and I’m very happy with it!
