After 23 years, I decided it was time to buy a new mattress. After asking a few friends, they all recommended Tempurpedic. Since they had a 0% 36 month payment plan, I decided to go for it. I do not sleep well at all ever since college. My old mattress was causing me a lot of joint pain in the hips, shoulders and neck areas. I no longer have that pain when I wake up in the morning, but I still do not sleep well unfortunately, but this has nothing to do with the mattress. Just my unfortunate luck.

I usually spin like a rotisserie chicken and leap frog between strange dreams. Instead, waking up in the morning and not feeling tired and sore is a nice change of pace. Think I'll keep it!

Was contemplating on purchasing a new bed because of the amount of other mattress companies out there, making it extremely difficult to decide. Purchased a Tempurpedic and it was one of the best decisions. It took a few weeks for the mattress to break in, but I have not had one bad night of sleep since. I did not notice a smell after it was set up, nor have I gotten warm/hot when sleeping (as others claimed). It is truly is well worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a bad experience with this mattress. It's on the hard side. That's number 1. But the worst was the first mattress was off. Like defective. The top layers day over three sides. The company was good and exchanged it. But the second mattress arrived with the top layers also off and shifted. The third mattress seems to be good but it was a big hassle.

I spent many weeks trying to figure out which of the new matresses was closest to the feel of my previous one. In the store i was leaning to adapt pro firm, which was $1000 more. Discussed w online costumer support for tempurpedic, who suggested this one. And they were right. Firm, but it feels it hugs you and supports you through the night for an amazing night of sleep! I couldn't be happier!

I owned tempur-pedic before, but this one is NO Good. I have had the worst nights sleep on this mattress. My whole body aches the next morning , takes me 2 extra strength tylenol to get moving after sleeping on this mattress. only 2 more years and it will be paid for and i can get something else.

She's been struggling with back and hip pain and none of the mattresses designed for hospital beds was helping, and in fact, they were making things worse. We thought we would try a tempur-pedic mattress since we knew it was designed to help with back pain and figured it would work on a hospital bed frame much as it does on an adjustable bed frame. Since day one she's been sleeping better and waking up with less pain. In fact, she now looks forward to taking naps just about any time of the day.

We loved our old bed, so were concerned we wouldn't love this one as much. Definitely love at first night! The transition was seamless, and we look forward to many more years of wonderful pressure-relieving sleep.

Moved from a bed in a box to this, as my prior experiences with Tempurpedic was always a great nights sleep. I went with the hybrid as it seemed to imply a bit more support would be gained from the springs. After 3 nights, I was waking up with back pain nearly hourly, having to adjust position (get out of the crater) to fall back asleep. Approximately 1 month out now, it has only gotten worse and I am going to return the mattress. Truly unfortunate, but it was it is. I'm a 5'10 200lb person, so not small, but not huge. My wife is 5'4 130lb, and also is shocked by the prior mattress being more supportive (this was the reason we moved on from it).
