Great chair!

Easy to assemble

I was able to assemble these chairs, each under half an hour. I made sure the anchoring nut was fully in place, tapping if needed before I inserted the screw. Light enough to move by myself. Yes, they are hard plastic, so I added an outdoor decorative pillow to the back. Love the cup holder too.

We ordered 4 of these chairs on May 19th. They never arrived. The tracking told us it would arrive by May 21st. Anytime we looked at the tracking it showed they were still in their city of origin after 2 weeks. We called Sam's to ask about it and they told us there was nothing they could do. After calling back 3 times, they refunded our money and we never got our chairs. We were so excited to receive these chairs for a party we were having. It was very disappointing

My first disappointment upon opening the box was that this chair is made of thin-walled plastic. Each piece is hollow, extruded plastic. I proceeded to putting the chair together. The third screw stuck in the little rectangular nut. When I tried to back it out to realign it, the screw sheared off. Already decided to return the chair to Sam's, I then tried to unscrew one of the first two screws. The rectangular nut spun out in the thin plastic, making it impossible to take apart. I had to break off the plastic knob in order to take the chair apart and repack it in its box. Save yourself time and aggravation; buy a sturdy, SOLID Adirondack on-line for only slightly more.

disappointed in quality

We got them for $79

Missing hardware pieces. Contacted the manufacturer only to find out I had to file a warranty claim and send pictures for three missing nuts. Customer service told me to go on line and file a claim. We are talking 3 little flat special nuts that the arms screw into! Ordered 4 of these chairs and all the parts bags were torn open. Avoid these chairs and save yourself a lot of trouble. Just got these delivered today. wow they are a lot bigger than I thought they would be. (good thing) I put one together right in my office with a simple screwdriver. I saw other people having trouble with assembly, you have to make sure the flat metal nuts are pushed in all the way and line up with the hole for the screw. I put mine together in like ten minutes. I saw in the picture online, where it looked like it folded up but I don't see any way of doing that

We had no issues putting these chairs together. In fact, "I supervised" and my 13 year old son put two together! Box states about 10 minute build time, that's about right for an adult. My son did his first chair in 18 minutes, second chair, 12 minutes. Our chairs sit on the landing, in our pool since they are made of polypropylene plastic, the chlorine won't damage the material, nor will constant submersion in the water.
