Perfect for our small and growing family. We have a smaller sized fridge/freezer in the kitchen so this saves up extra trips to the store.

Purchased a 10 cu ft Thomson Freezer about a week ago from Sears Outlet, so far it's doing well so I'll rate it a four star because it is a bit noisy! I've looked on the net and can not find a 10 cu. ft. Thomson freezer. WHO MAKES THE FREEZER! I know it's made in China. I have found that Sams, sells the 7.1 cu ft model. I have looked on the internet and can not find out who makes it!

This was a gift for Christmas and I am soooooo disappointed. The seal on this is horrible and most days when I go to pull out food it's not frozen solid. This has left me with no other option that to put cases of water on top to keep the cover down.

I just purchased the 7 unit and after plugging it in the unit got hot and the lid would not open . I figured that's just how the first time run would work . I came back 30 minutes later and the unit (outside)cooled down and the lid opened up .Everytime you open the lid and close it , it will not let you open the lid for awhile...I visibility can not see anything that is causing this unit to self lock. Nothing in the very cheap instruction book references this self locking issue ..I called the customer support and recieved no support . Taking this unit back to Sam's .. The bad thing is they are sold out everywhere but who wants a freezer that won't open ...
