No it's not thick or quilted, but it does just as good a job and it dissolves. I'm not having to constantly shout for someone to bring paper. Scott's has enough paper on it to last as long if not longer than 2 ply.

As soon as any moisture hits it it disintegrates. And any substance that goes into it ends up in your hands.
