No it's not thick or quilted, but it does just as good a job and it dissolves. I'm not having to constantly shout for someone to bring paper. Scott's has enough paper on it to last as long if not longer than 2 ply.

It’s a good value for the number of rolls you get that compares to sale prices on smaller packages at other retailers. But the best part about this package is that each roll is individually wrapped. I love the convenience of being able to store these rolls out of the plastic packaging without worrying about them collecting dust while they await use. This also makes it easier to grab however many rolls I need to replenish the supply in separate bathrooms in the house. I won’t buy any other brand of toilet paper from any other retailer.

Plumbers even recommended using Scott toilet paper in newer plumbing bc Scott is known for breaking down much easier than thick luxurious name brand toilet paper. it might feel better but it cost more to landlords and homeowners to unclog drains several times per year. We've learned our lessons.
