It's single ply, but it doesn't last long; even though it has 1,000 sheets, I feel like more gets wasted than actually used. I have to use a lot each time I go to the bathroom; it feels very thin and falls apart easily. It feels soft and doesn't cause irritation, but I don't consider it good-quality toilet paper, and I wouldn't buy it again.
