We tried every kind of cheaper version of this toilet paper and it was just not the same. We have also tried the more cushiony kind of toilet paper and we just don't like it. Scott 1000 is thin enough to wipe you clean without disintegrating during each wipe. You only have to use a normal amount instead of an excessive amount like knock off brands. The tp is lightweight. One roll also lasts awhile. Would always recommend.
