It’s thin but long lasting toilet paper. It gets the job Done esp for a big family and doesn’t clog the toilet. I would recommend for those who are money conscious. It is not that pricey and if you buy the big package can last thru a month or two depending on the size of the family.

For many years, I only bought that "luxury" tissue that we are not supposed to squeeze. I live in a vintage house in an historic community with old trees, sewers, etc. We all love our homes but have frequent problems with sewer backups. My plumber told me to use only Scott 1000 and "I would never see him again" and it WORKS!!

Scott has been our family's toilet paper of choice for over 60+ years, 3 generations. Pre-pandemic the quality was still in tact. Post pandemic, Scott has taken a dump, no pun intended! You still advertise 1000 sheets, yes, but the current 1000 sheets are now shorter, narrower, and not to mention thinner. So thin, that you can practically see through the sheet. I find myself both sad and disappointed, and I know that it's only toilet paper, but It's been a family staple, my personal go to for over 35 years, and now I have to say goodbye.

I compare this toilet paper to something you would find in an institution type setting. I definitely would not buy this toilet paper if I saw it in the grocery store. The amount this probably costs it would make more sense to buy Charmin or something similar for a little more money. Definitely willing to spend more on toilet paper to have better absorbency as well as a soft cushion feel.

There’s no design or perforations on it like our Charmin toilet paper has. This product claims to be clog-free. I don’t flush my toilet paper down the toilet, but maybe if used in a commercial setting, this could work well. It also claims to have 1,000 sheets per roll. To be honest, you’re going to have to use a lot of sheets to make sure you’re clean lol. I think I’ll stick to my Charmin toilet paper, but in a pinch, this one isn’t bad.

I have been buying this for over 25+ years. The quality has gone downhill. One can buy a store brand that is equitable for much less. Very disappointed in the change in size, how thin it is and especially the outrageous price for an inferior product. Stopped buying it. Very disappointed.

Yes, I know the paper is thin, doesn't hold together well, is a bit scratchy, and isn't absorbent. But it is safe for our home pipes, septic system, and camper. Obviously, we need a lot of tissue to clean up, but we usually buy a huge pack on sale and stock up.

Scott 1000 vs. 1100 sheets per roll toilet paper. You can see the difference. The “grain” of the newer (1100) is visible, but does not show well in a photo. What does show is that the texture is more visible on the old (1000) sheets. You can feel the difference. In the wrapping, the new rolls are hard, not soft. No “give” when squeezed either. The old rolls are softer. The new rolls are more difficult to start. Always end up tearing several layers off to get a roll started. While this was sometimes a challenge with the old rolls, it is always a problem with the new. Also, it is more difficult to find the next sheet when using the new rolls. We have used this product for decades. We were satisfied with the original product.
