We used regular scotts' tissue for years. When this new softer was introduced PERFECT! ( Regular was a little abrasive) so this was a God send, however over the years the size and quality has diminished. My last purchase was a 36=72 with six extra rolls, I was thinking JACKPOT! So I purchased 2. Not a jackpot. When I opened the second 6 pack all of the rolls were frayed same with the next 2 whomp whomp whomp. I was dismayed by not only the rolls were frayed the rolls were significantly smaller, I only have a 2 person house hold and we are both employed 10 hour working days and we managed to go through a approx. every 2 days. Guess thats why there was 6 free rolls. Because they were opened the store would not take them back, any suggestions?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tp is super thin, and rough. Doesn’t absorb much with one layer so you have to use a lot. I mean compared next to Charmin on the left I feel like you can just see the difference in quality. Not very durable, and personally wouldn’t buy.

I am a loyal Scott toilet paper user!  It is strong enough to not rip or tear and yet gentle to not cause any irritation.  The price is very affordable, and economical.  I will continue to be an avid scott user, and would recommend you give it try.

However, it's not the softest or the thickest toilet paper so if your someone who prefers that than I wouldn't purchase this Scott 1000. It definitely does the job at a good price!

I have been using Scott 1,000 rolls since I was a kid. I love that I don't have to change the roll as frequently as other tissues. Lately I have been very frustrated when opening a new roll of tissue...You are gluing down the starter edge so that there is no way to get a grip on anything to start the roll going. So you end up having to rip through several sheets to get it going, making a mess of tiny tissue pieces all over the floor. Why do you need to glue these edges down when these rolls are individually wrapped anyway? If you do glue the edge down, you must leave a loose end to grab on to (and you used to). This has been going on for some time now and frustrating me for some time now and I've been meaning to write you about it for some time now too...happened again today so I decided to write. If you don't fix this, I'm regretfully moving on to a new brand.

When you live in an area where the sewage drain and trap are not great, the Scott brand is the way to go. We have tried other brands which lead to calling a plumber. We now only buy Scott regular. It’s not the softest but it is the brand that keeps our sewage from backing up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I could give this zero stars, I would. This is the worst toilet paper I’ve ever tried. The fact that it's one-ply means I had to use an excessive amount just to feel somewhat clean, practically going through a quarter of the roll each time wrapping it around my hand like a mummy. The texture is uncomfortably rough, making it harsh on the skin. Moreover, its lack of durability is astonishing—any contact with moisture causes it to disintegrate almost immediately. I would not recommend this product, if you buy proceed with caution and a bunch of backup rolls.

I have used Scott 1000 for many years, but this year it is not the same, much thinner paper so you have to use twice as much. It has gotten very weak so falls apart even when you use lots more. I am very disappointed in the last 5 packs of 20 that I have purchased gotten.

But its on the thinner side and not the softest out there, so if you’re looking for something plush and cushiony (which is a main focus for me) this probably isn’t it. Its quality isn’t quite what it used to be, but for people who care more about value and reliability than luxury, it still gets the job done.
