This product is the best buy on toilet paper hands down! I have a large family and I used to buy toilet paper every time I went to the store. However, even if I buy a small package-4 rolls I know I will not run out until my next grocery trip. It is more expensive but it lasts 2 to 4 times longer than double rolls. Why? It is thinner and not as soft as most TP, but when you have children (and husbands)that already use twice as much(or more) than they need to, it doesn't add up to half the roll !!

We use Scott 1000 for a long time. We recently purchased a pack of 36 rolls and each and every roll in it is substantially different from what we used before - the paper is coarse/hard and not as soft as it used to be - it feels like a sandpaper and unfinished - not in line with how the original rolls were all along. Was something changed in the product? is this packaged defective?

This is the toilet paper I buy all the time. It is unscented and not too soft that it breaks apart. It is very affordable and I find it almost in all the stores by my area. It's also available in single roll so you can try it put without buying a big pack.

There are somethings that I will always use and this is one of them! We always used Scott's in my household, ever since I was a kid. I have strayed but I always come back. The paper is sturdy but soft and cleans you nice! I will always use this toilet paper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paper is really thin. It's only one ply. That being said, it's soft for 1 ply. It's decently absorbant, doesn't tear as easy as most 1 ply toilet papers. And it's easier on your septic system. This is definitely worth it.

I only buy Scott tissue. It is t the softest, but a roll lasts a long time. My husband always wants something Softer, like Cottenelle, and each time he decides to get it we run out super fast! The. Back to scott we go. It is super economical and doesn’t have you running out of tp every day!

Firstly, Scotts WAS a beloved and trusted brand of my family's for many years-- the way we go through toilet paper, I usually buy several 20 packs at once. That all changed this new year (2019) when on 4 out of 4 twenty-roll packs of Scotts 1000 sheets that I checked (after noticing concerning stains on rolls from pack 1), I found either (or a combination of all) black stains, off white stains, and silver metal looking slivers fresh out of the wrapper--and sometimes on the wrapper. EVERY pack had defective rolls in them. In one pack in particular every single roll was affected with either (or both) black spots, off white spots, or silver slivers that lit up in the light like metal. One pack in particular smelled of something spoiled and had toilet paper wrapping with off white stains. Now the kicker is that NONE of the four 20 packs of Scotts toilet paper outside packaging was opened. They were sealed and each roll individually wrapped which leads me to believe all this happened in the Scotts factory (the black/off white spots, funky smells, metal slivers). I have to admit to being absolutely appalled by this discovery, and disgusted. This needs to be addressed immediately. I have attached pictures that include the toilet paper rolls and what they looked like still in the packaging and fresh out of the wrapper. My family and I are very concerned because Scotts was the only toilet paper we used and now we are scared to even buy it again.

I have been using this brand for years , and it has definitely changed . It is so thin I can see through it . I KNOW it has changed because I compared it to great value toilet paper knock with the see through method and Walmart’s failed but Scott’s at the time, was great . I will not be using this product again . The fact that this multi million dollar company changed the product to be worse is the real deal breaker .
