Texture is not too soft and not too rough. It does the job. You do need a little more toilet paper to use than a thicker brand but this has 1000 sheets so it does last longer than your normal thick roll since those have less than 400 sheets. Definitely good deal if you have kids that love to play with toilet paper.

I have been using Scott toilet paper for decades and generally buy multipacks because of the value. Unfortunately, over the past year or so, the quality has not been what I had come to expect. Thinner and rougher (crunchy, even) renders it unpleasant. When I noticed the change, I bought another multipack thinking it was likely a bad batch. Alas, it appears this is the new normal for this toilet paper. I'm disappointed. Scott TP was something I could depend upon. Now, I must begin a search for a replacement. Sigh.

The paper dissolves 10 times faster than other toliet papers. It is unscented and 4 rolls should last up to 1 month. Scott 1 ply is my go to brand for toilet paper.
