[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All my adult life, soft fluffy toilet tissue has made me deeply uncomfortable (I was going to write "...has rubbed me the wrong way," but I reconsidered). The same tissue that that family of cartoon bears is monomaniacally obsessed with getting their paws on, I don't want at ALL. I grew up in a low-income family, with a stepfather who survived the Great Depression and still ran our household as if we might be boiling our leather shoes for soup at any moment. It was made clear to us from the earliest age that our bun regions did NOT deserve toilet tissue woven from fairy wings and clouds. Our buns were not aristocratic royalty; they were tough. They were utilitarian. They were prepared for a life of hardship, and would endure and persevere. And so, we were raised on the cheapest, roughest toilet tissue possible -- toilet tissue that built character...and calluses. Our TP was one tiny notch away from sandpaper. It wasn't even one ply...it was half a ply. It left no lint. It barely absorbed, just...violently shoved the substances it was introduced to out of the way, like a bouncer at Club Toilet. And after 18 years of this, well, it's what I'm used to. It's what feels right -- the toilet paper that reflects what life is really like. Challenging. Hard. A pain in the...well, you know.

I love that it dissolves faster and won’t clog the toilet but, my only issue was that it was not strong enough when wiping. The sheet is very thin and you need a lot of sheets for it not to break risking getting your hands dirty in the process. Over all it’s soft, affordable and dissolves fast just… be aware that it’s thin and you need a bit more to wipe.

My mom and dad used this for years because of a septic system and I have just continued to use it. Cons - it's not thick and fluffy. Pros - it doesn't clog your septic system and come on, 1,000 sheets! I have to change my roll every day if I use anything else. For that reason alone, I'm Scott's for life. 

I am so disappointed with my recent purchase of Scott 1000 toilet tissue. I grew up on Scott. It was the only TP my mother purchased. It is the only toilet tissue I have purchased as an adult and I’m 60. But I will no longer be buying Scott’s. It is extremely thin and rough. Uncomfortable to use! I have used it several times to blow my nose and it smells like bleach. I have always bought this because we have a septic system and it breaks down easily. But I will be switching brands. I read another review saying that formula changed several months ago. Very disappointing. Hope you go back to your old formula. This new one just isn’t working!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best toilet paper ever, imo. It cleans wonderfully AND it doesn't have a bunch of lint coming off of it, that makes such a mess. The kids even changed the roll !! Everyone should use this TP, Tujunga would be happier and cleaner !

It gets to work then it works great and it’s cheap when you buy it and bundle and that’s exactly what we do. I’ve been using this product for a great while now because of the price and the quality, I mean it works for what it is so can’t complain there.

I just bought this on Sunday and have never bought Scott before. I didn't know it was 1 ply, but my kids did. So 20 rolls are going to be more like 10 because you have to use double the amount or your hands go through it. Worst product ever for tissue to wipe. And with young children it is the pits.

I have bought Scott's 1000 sheet tissue for 15 years, since there were 4 girls in my house using TP night and day I was bout to go bankrupt on toilet paper. They might not be the softest but no more clogged toilets, and a roll lasts more then a day. My friends and family complain 🤣but I'm happy!
