It took me a while to realize the cardboard rolls piled up quickly in the garbage can .... And then I tried Scott 1,000 sheet per roll! We have 3 Married children and it's all they buy as well. With 3 granddaughters flowing thru the house , I love the fact that I'm not asked to get another roll.

At age 52 I have used Scott toilet tissue all of my life, as my parents also purchased it. Over the years I did not mind the reduction of the width of the role, however, upon my most recent purchase (December 2017), the thickness of the Tissue has become drastically thinner. I am now contemplating switching brands.

I have only used Scott products for all of my adult life. I am in my mid 50's and have become so sick of the brand! You can literally read through the toilet tissue so whereas it used to be 2 ply and very cost conscious..now you are using MORE just to get the job done and not get your hands soiled. This was an edge that Scott had on ALL THE COMPETITORS, but not any more! I am not sure what brand I will be switching to now, but after this package I just bought on Friday August 19th. I can assure you it wont be Scott anymore. I was a huge supporter of anything Scott. In June my family I bought a huge 24 package for our beach week and we all noticed at the same time that something was drastically bad and different. I suggested it was just an error in just this package an OTO, one time only, I said, but no...sadly its not. Sadly, its not! Shame on you for changing what was an already good product. If its not broke, don't fix it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly hadn’t used Scott toilet paper in a long time because I shop at a wholesale club that doesn’t carry it. Upon trying this one, I feel as though it’s softer than it was years ago. I like that I don’t get little pieces shedding off- so the “strong” terminology applies. It’s not pillowy soft, but especially if you have kids, it helps to cut down on excessive TP utilization. Sure, you have to use more length because it’s thinner, but it’s made for that!

This was the only brand my parents would buy (I’m 76 years old)..my parents taught us well, Scott is the only toilet tissue in my house and my children and grand children continue the tradition. One daughter has a septic tank and likes the way it works with it. When the pandemic caused a run on paper products we were not happy with some of the brands that were the only ones available. We put The other brands in the guest bathroom and kept our supply of Scott’s for ourselves. Always make sure I have the huge supply from Sam’s on hand.

We have used this Scott tissue for decades and have always been very satisfied. It is the only tissue that doesn't clog the old, worn pipes in our 100+ year-old house. In recent years, however, in addition to smaller size sheets, the paper has become so thin that one has to use twice as much for the job. I find it hard to believe the "12 rolls last 12 weeks" slogan on the 12-roll package. My wife and I jokingly say that can only be true if that household consists of one man with chronic constipation. We will continue to use this tissue because of our old plumbing but are really sad to see the quality deteriorate.

So not to get gross or anything but this is one of the few brand that I can use without breaking out. There are some out there that give me rashes or dry me out. These are great on the septic tank and strong enough to stay together. They don’t leave anything behind and keep you clean

This is without a doubt , the smallest roll of toilet paper in existence. You wonder why the roll disappears so quickly, thinking its you and in reality, year by year they have lessoned the roll and increased the price. I have 5 brother and sisters, we all have used Scott Products all our lives. Not any more !! Give Us Back The Quality & A Reasonable Price !

Long lasting and it gets the job done my mom would always buy this toilet paper and now I But it and nothing really it does all it needs not expensive at all I’m a single mother of four and last me quite a bit with my kids who go thru it like nothin lol

Like most here, I've used Scott TP for longer than I want to admit. It is definately not the same as it used to be. It has smaller, thinner sheets and the price keeps rising. I've tried the Extra Soft but it's TOO soft . I'll keep buying Scott 1000 for now but don't make too many more changes or you'll ruin a good thing.
