Strong but softer than years past

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly hadn’t used Scott toilet paper in a long time because I shop at a wholesale club that doesn’t carry it. Upon trying this one, I feel as though it’s softer than it was years ago. I like that I don’t get little pieces shedding off- so the “strong” terminology applies. It’s not pillowy soft, but especially if you have kids, it helps to cut down on excessive TP utilization. Sure, you have to use more length because it’s thinner, but it’s made for that!

Very thin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It may have 1000 sheets on a roll but you have to use 2x as much because it is so thin. See through thin. Absorbs well when doubled. But idk about it being worth the value if you have to use 2x as much.

Can’t beat it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott is my favorite toilet paper brand. However, this exact kind, is not. My family & I prefer a thicker, softer paper. I love the large rolls. (Having to change them less often) but as you can see in the pictures, it’s so thin it’s see through. Almost the consistency of tissue paper. I typically buy Scott brand when shopping for toilet paper but I typically buy the comfort plus. It last longer & don’t have to use as much. The price is always a better deal for the amount & quality which is a huge reason why it’s the one I go for! *Fun Fact* This is the only toilet paper my parents used in our house growing up. They always said it was better for the septic tank. When I was in 6th grade, our class did an experiment to see which toilet paper would hold the most/ be the most durable. I brought in a roll of Scott 1000 sheet toilet paper while others brought in Angel Soft, Charmin, store brands, etc. we had 2 people hold a piece at each end, about 10 sheets long & we would slowly pour water on it to see how long it would take to break. Scott tissue never broke. It ended up being the winner of most durable/best toilet paper to use. As an adult I still remember that and it sticks with me to this day when buying toilet paper for my household. Scott brand, hands down!

The quality matches the price you pay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the basic lineup for this brand, it’s really not that great. It does get the job done, but the tissue is thin compared to others Scott’s sells. When comparing with others in its lineup, this tore fairly quickly when dry or getting wet, and did not preform very well. I do recommend to use one of their higher quality tissue papers as you get more bang for your buck on it. If you have to use it, it works.

Scratchy and thin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott 1000 sheet Toilet Paper is the only option many plumbers choose for avoiding sewer and septic clogs. Beyond that, I cannot find any reasons to recommend this product. It is thin, so thin you can easily see through it. It claims to last a long time, but I have to construct a giant wad in order to have enough coverage and protection. It is scratchy and itchy and makes me unhappy. But the men in my life love it. Go figure!

Pretty good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott 1000 Toilet Paper is known for its practicality and value. Each roll contains 1,000 sheets, making it a cost-effective choice for households seeking long-lasting toilet paper. Its 1-ply design is septic-safe and dissolves quickly, reducing the risk of clogs . Pros: • High sheet count per roll offers extended use. • Septic-safe and quick-dissolving, suitable for various plumbing systems. • Economical option for budget-conscious consumers. Cons: • Some users find the paper thinner and less soft compared to premium brands . • Reports of the paper tearing easily and being less durable . Overall, Scott 1000 is a reliable choice for those prioritizing quantity and septic safety over plushness. However, individuals seeking a softer, more luxurious feel might consider alternative options.

I deserve 2 ply…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would’ve welcomed this toilet paper had it arrived in 2020 when there was a shortage, but with a plethora of tissue options, this is not it for me! It feels thin, rough, scratchy. It’s simply two ply cut in half so it’s just one ply and it’s it feels cheapy and I’m sure it is not cheap to buy. You’re better off buying the nicer stuff because it takes more of this tissue paper for the same result.

Very poorly made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this toilet paper from Influenster through quick claims. I used different brands of toilet paper some are very best quality and some are average but this is the poor one. Very thin just like a paper and not at all soft, are very roughly textured. Just hold to use and it all vanished in your hands within a second. I don’t like it at all.

Falling quality

The quality has gone down. I have used Scott to for 40 years because of the septic safety. It has become so thin it dissolves as soon as it touches the skin and leaves terrible residue. I am seriously looking for another product that t Is septic safe.
