I just bought a Scott 1000 pack in Sam’s club on January 05 2018 I’m so unhappy because the tissue is so thin I have to fold like 6 time so my hand won’t get dirty I always buy Scott my family been buying it for years but I guess with this we are changing our brand

It is thinner than other brands, however it is still sturdy and you get more for your money! There is not much of a texture to it; so you will find out that it will not snag and rip on things easily. Overall, this paper is by far my favorite and has been for years!

I always buy Scott 1000 sheet toilet paper and wouldn't ever consider buying anything else. It lasts twice as long, doesn't clog the plumbing and is well worth the price. The competition can run all the supposed "sales" they want and they still can't compete with Scott's product or value.

It flushes well and doesn't clog the toilet. The only thing I dont like is how thin the material is, which makes you use more when wiping.

What happened?!?!?! I am a lifetime, loyal Scott user, I literally grew up with it and can't stand other brands. Until now. The toilet paper has gone through plenty of changes over my five decades, but this is - by far - outrageous. It is SO THIN it is actually rendered useless. Not useable. No longer serves a purpose. I've flushed my money down the toilet along with this garbage Kimberly Clark calls Scott. And it's certainly not any "safer to flush" when you have to use the whole roll in one "sitting."

I bought the Scott 1000 and I'm thinking about tossing it. It's so thin I hate it. It's not thin but resistant, it's just thin. Never buyin it again. I'm so disappointed about wasting money on it, and now I have to buy another brand because I can't trust Scott again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first thought was the rolls had noticably more weight then others, I soon discovered there are alot of sheets on each roll but the paper is thin. After trying a typical amount I found that it tore easily and required using more then my normal each time. I like that it is septic safe.

However we also noticed that each sheet was thinner than the roll we bought at our local super market. Are the toliet papers made for wholesale clubs different than the products offered in regular super markets?

We usually do not buy 1 ply and when presented to the family about testing, I received a skeptical look from every one of them but told them to at least try and let me know what they think. The very 1s thing that caught my attention over the week of using it so far was that not one complaint has made it my way which again with the size of family, I was double skeptical. But after using this I noticed 1. It was lasting us a lot longer than any other brand of 2 ply has. We were still on the first roll after 3 days and with 9 people that's pretty outstanding. So I went thru and asked each one their thoughts. The main reply was, it looks thin but doesn't respond like a this 1 ply would. No one experienced any breakage, it was septic friendly, & they were using less to get the same results. We typically go thru a 6pk a week & yet only on roll 2 after 1 full week. It has received an A+ from all 9 of us and I will be seeking it out in stores

i have read your reviews and the replies. I grew up with Scott 1000 sheet rolls and it is all I have ever used. For one, it lasted a long time, another reason is it was it was lint free. Now the paper roll is shorter and softer. It has a textured look that it never had before. If I wanted soft cushy toilet paper I would not have been using Scott all these years. You seem to be pushing the extra soft type but for those of us who loved Scott the way it was this is not an option. You say you have not changed it "recently". So when did you change it? It HAS changed. I've been noticing this for awhile. I have to buy toilet paper way more often than I used to and I'm sick of it. I will be looking elsewhere. I am 59 years old and I have ALWAYS used Scott tissue. Not any more.
