The paper is a bit too thin for my liking and it makes it a bit rough. Typical package. The value is similar to other toilet papers as you have to use a bit more to makeup for how thin it is. This also kind of interrupts the idea it will last longer. Absorbs so so again if you use enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this tissue literally my entire life. I LOVE this tissue. If I were stranded on an island I would wish for only this tissue. Scott Tissue 1000 is the best because it cleans with no "left behind" tissue remnants. I personally cannot stand using tissue that feels like a pillow. I need a tissue that does the job--not a scented cashmere sweater. Scott 1000--gets the job done. That gets a gold star from me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a toss up for me. It’s 1 ply, which I don’t like how thin it is. It’s way thin. It could be could for camping trailer. Probably dissolves better because it’s thin. I personally like 2 ply. I give it 3 stars because in certain situations it could be a benefit like camping or safer for septic tanks if you have a well. But I probably won’t buy it because I prefer two ply and little thicker toilet paper.

For 30 years I've insisted that my wife buy Scott, but for some years now I see inconsistencies: different patterns, different quality, different texture, different sturdiness; different perforation. Some are good; others aren't. I find myself often accusing my wife of sneaking in other brands. She assures me it's all Scott. How can this be? Are you manufacturing an inconsistent product? Are you simply buying up surplus toilet paper and packaging random stuff under your name? I don't know, but I'm not willing to fool around any longer. I told her she is free to buy any paper she likes. You can be certain it isn't going to be Scott.

This is not the same as it used to be and I've used this same brand for more than twenty years. I don't want to be vulgar but it seems like almost more paper is being left than is ending up in the toilet. I've not been very happy with the rolls for some time now; it's getting too soft or something...please bring back the old paper formula.

I buy this product all the time but in this 12 roll package the paper doesn't want to tear on the perforations. You need two hands to tear it and even then it doesn't tear that easily or evenly. I'm hoping this is just a manufacturing defect and not a change in how you manufacture the product. I don't want to change to another product if I don't have to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using 2ply TP for a very long time and was curious to try the Scott 1000 sheet per role TP. For 1ply, it was decent, and did the job. It’s very thin and easy to tear/ fall apart. for me it’s not something I would use regularly. It’s a good TP for places with septic tanks or in RV’s as it feels like it will breakdown quicker.

I like Scott Brand toilet paper best because, it's the best money value around, and also the best paper - not too thin so you don't use reams of it, and not so thick that it forces you to use more than needed - it's perfect. Please do not make it any narrower!!

I have been using this Scott toilet paper my whole life. The last package I bought was not the same, it is extremely thin to the point where you have to use twice as much. It rips and is just awful. As my mother would say, it’s so thin you can read a newspaper through it! I noticed that the cardboard inner core is white now and it used to be brown cardboard so they have changed it. I don’t know what you’ve done to it but I will be looking for a new brand now. Please change it back to the affordable, acceptable version it used to be.
