I have crohns disease so I look for a soft toilet paper and this is not it. It was rough and wasn't durable to withstand the wiping that needed to be done unless I used a lot. To me it's just not worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this because of the price but it’s so thin and rough! It reminded me of tissue paper but thinner. It has a good price but I’m willing to pay more for softer and thicker brands. This is not one place I can skimp. It is good for septic systems so that is a place! And the packaging is eco friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TP with the fluffy/cushiony/quilted sheets feels like it's disintegrating as I use it. Scott tissue gets a grip and cleans better, it just does. I've tried the less expensive generic versions of Scott and they don't cut it (or grip it).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me say that you feel the difference between rough and harsh toilet paper that rips apart but this Scott roll doesn't it's soft don't tare easily and it don't leave cotton all over your hands like other tp does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper is definitely a great budget option, however I do feel it should be slightly thicker and stronger. While it boasts larger rolls, you have to use more of the product to absorb so you’re using almost double the amount. It works well enough, but would not be my top choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I do not recommend. I personally don’t like one ply. You have to use double the amount. This particular toilet paper seemed to disintegrate as soon as it touches a liquid even with double the amount. It just makes for a very unpleasant restroom experience. It’s not sustainable or cost effective because of the amount needed for clean up without having wet hands.

I have preached Scott 1000 sheet roll tissue for more than 30 years to everyone I know. I loved its dependability, that it was long lasting, and for me, economically sound. My last purchases, "Septic Safe," not so much, not only has the roll decreased in dimensions, but the tissues dissolves in my hands. If I use it to wipe my nose, it dissolves, leaving tissue on my face. If I touch it with moist hands, it dissolves in my hands. Needless to say, it breaks apart and leaves residuals with its intended use. I also find that since it is so quick to dissolve, we have to use more for padding, and it is not the good value it used to be. Because I can find no other version other than Septic Safe, for the first time in more than 30 years, I will no longer purchase Scott, unless I ever find the basic tissue on the shelves again. I loved the original Scott Tissue, and this makes me very unhappy with the company.

This is the stuff you need if you have kids in your household---plain, thin, unscented, absorbent toilet paper. I gave up on 2-ply "soft" tissue because the kids kept clogging the toilet with it. I consider this a bargain when I can get it for around 75 cents or less per roll, sometimes at local stores. Shop around, but stick with this 1000-sheet roll from Scott if you have children!

Don't know what has changed but have used for years and was very happy with product. Now, the t.p. just disinigrates in your hand and on your body. Please! No auto-generated canned denial that there is a difference. There most definitely is and 4 different households will no longer purchase. Very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper works as intended without being uncomfortable. It works well and is definitely above average in terms of texture and absorbency. I don't feel the need to use a large wad just to prevent things soaking through to my hand.
