[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely grateful to have received this especially during these tough economic times. I do wish and prefer if it was a bit thicker? I known it says 2 ply but it doesn't feel like it. I find myself having to use more to avoid it tearing.

I have literally used Scott toilet paper for my entire life. (67 years). My mother used it and her children have continued using it. Recently we were talking about it and have noticed that it seems thinner, the paper hardly ever tears straight across - unless you’re really careful, and doesn’t seem to be as absorbent as in the past, thus not lasting as long. Not sure what happened to it, but not the same product that we’ve used forever.

I coupon so i buy what i can. But i have noticed NO OTHER toilet paper works better for us like Scott 1000 sheets. I have 5 kids plus the kids i have guardianship of. So we are 9 in my household and it is not cheap and i get no help. So thanks for being so reasonable.

My wife and I have been loyal Scott users for over 40 years. recently, we purchase our usual supply of multi-pack tissue. I am now seeing that the rolls are not perforated for easy tearing. This has been an issue, especially when our grandchildren are with us. I am very disappointed with the quality control and would like to make you aware.

I grew up with Scott, and I also buy Scott. The 1000 sheets last longer then the name brands that have way less sheets per roll. Even though I have to use more sheets of Scott then if I had bought Charmin or Angel Soft, Scotts still last longer per roll then theirs. Now if it were softer or thicker, that would be a great plus, and more people would buy it then, but they dont like how thin it is. I buy it for the value. I dont buy the Scott soft because there are only 850 sheets per roll...up it to 1000 like regular Scotts and I will buy that instead...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tp so much when you live in a house of 3 boys. You never believe how much I go through. Scott is best I can buy and I don’t feel like I run out all the time. I don’t have plugged toilets and my septic loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper left a lot to be desired. It is as thin as it could possible be. It deteriorated with any sort of moisture. It also leaves tiny pieces of paper behind on your bits. I would not recommend this toilet paper to anyone.

Scott 1000 Long Lasting is my new brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to use Scott toilet paper when I was in college and so I had a very positive association with this brand as a value brand and was happy to try it again this month. I guess I had forgotten that pretty much all of Scott’s toilet papers are single ply. They really to have a lot of squares in one roll of toilet paper! Experience wise, the paper is soft enough and pretty comfortable to use. The roll is large and did fit on my standard roll holder. It is definitely septic safe! The thin 1 ply is where I probably would not buy this again. I am a bit of a clean freak and this stuff disintegrated a bit on me and leave bits of residue if I felt the need to rub with it. In order to dab I would grab handfuls, so probably more than twice as many squares as I might use from a competing multi ply brand. Other members of my family were not so pleased by why they felt was discount TP. I am including a photo of the toilet paper just in case you do not know what a single ply toilet paper looks like or you have forgotten. I think this is a great TP for someone on a budget without huge expectations like I was when I was on college. I needed something practical and this would have fit the bill perfectly. The bag says it is good for RVs and that is another perfect use case. Even though I used more squares I still think these rolls will last a bit longer than the average roll of toilet paper, so they are definitely an excellent value, but you have to want that good value!

I’ve bought this brand of toilet paper for many many years. They’ve changed it in the last year or so. The role does not last as long, it appears to be thinner than the prior batch, leaves particles and is abrasive on women. Reviews on Amazon show a high percentage of negative reviews. I’m not sure why anyone in this thread would rate this toilet paper high.
