Several years ago we had 4 kids living in the house and would go through a lot of toilet paper. We were looking for cheaper options and decided to try Scott. It was a change going from 2 ply toilet paper to a thin 1 ply toilet paper. The toilet paper holds up really well and lasts a long time. Now that it is just 3 of us in the house we still buy it every time.

Always bought this brand and type of paper because it’s gentle on your behind, Easy to clean and you do not need a lot when using this product. Everyone has different budgets on toilet paper and This one tends to fit my budget soI always tend to go with Scott.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like Scott Bath tissue. It may not be the softest or thickest bath tissue but it is strong and durable and if flushes well without plugging up the toilet. I will continue to buy and use it. It’s very economical and affordable.

I had used Scott toilet tissue for years. For whatever reason, we started using other brands. Recently, I decided to go back to Scott's. I am not sure what has changed, but it is definitely not what it used to be. I have had better quality with non brand tissue. As thin as it is, it is pretty useless.

I have been a customer of Scott 1000 for over 30 years. I started when an elementary student did a study and found for the quality and price this was the best value. This last 12 pack is decidely different. It is much thinner than the previous toilet paper. I am very disappointed. A few weeks ago I would have given this a 5, now it is a one maybe a two.

I bought a 12-pack of Scott 1000 last week and used perhaps half a roll. Today, I threw out 11-1/2 rolls of Scott 1000, because we could not think of one possible use for it. It is the thinnest, flimsiest paper we have ever seen. Thinner than tissue paper. Thinner than Bible paper. One could not roll a cigarette with it. One certainly could not use it for its intended use to any good effect. I suppose one could start a small fire with it, but the fire would quickly run out of fuel. Don’t waste your money.

I just bought a 20pk of Scott1000. Been using this to for years. It seems like a 6 year old was turned loose with the glue gun. Many of the rolls ended up tearing half the paper off to get through the glue. I'm terribly disappointed in product quality this time. Hope it goes back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott Toilet Paper is definitely long-lasting, but for me, it’s too thin and not as soft as I like. I prefer something a bit thicker and more comfortable, even if it means fewer sheets per roll. It’s great for value and plumbing, but not my first choice for daily comfort.

I dont like it much, we have to roll out a lot when use it, so it run out faster than the thicker toilet paper. But its good when you put it in the toilet, no worried about its get stuck.

A few months ago the sheets started having dimples on one side that made the sheets rough. I went on a journey to find a replacement. No luck. We go through the rolls so quickly. So I went back to Scott and was pleased, no dimples. Until I bought another pack of Scott toilet paper...they were back. I have noted the numbers stamped in the rolls and they are different. I'm contacting Scott to find out why the texture varies between packages. If I can always get the smooth sheets without dimples, I'm sticking with Scott, if not, I'm back on the hunt. There has to be a single sheet paper out there like Scott that's consistently smooth.
