This Scott TP is the only one I use totally love it and wouldn't change the brand for toilet paper. Yes it's a bit rougher than other brands over all it works for me and family it keeps all clean. Affordable and it lasts. Also it doesn't clogged the toilet. It's a keeper

I have been using scott’s since I was a kid. I have noticed in the last year it has gotten noticeably rougher and irritating. What is going on? Have you changed the manufacturing? I will finish this very large package of rolls and will then search for something else. Very disappointed.

We used Scott 1000 when I was growing up and I have continued it in my adult life (I'm 74). It flushes good, doesn't leave "lint" on body parts, lasts a long time and I don't worry about a clogged toilet. I have at least 40 rolls on hand at all times!

The texture also felt very rough. I liked that it came in a pack of four so you didn’t have to buy in bulk all the time. I guess if you used a lot more at once you could get the same effect as other brands but it still was a grainier texture. I typically use a softer and thicker toilet paper. I would not repurchase this.

I have used Scott for 51 years....My parents always bought Scott because of their septic system and although I live in the city, I continued the tradition. I have tried all those other fluff brands. Nothing compares to Scott. Thanks for staying true!

It’s not necessarily rough when you’re using it, but it’s not pleasant to use either. I felt like I needed to use a lot to make sure I wasn’t going to get pee on my hands when wiping. Our family will not be purchasing this product in the future because we are willing to spend more to have a soft, thick toilet paper. But if you are cost conscious, don’t really care what your toilet paper feels like, or if you have pipes that are easily clogged, I would recommend this toilet paper for you. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott 1000 Toilet Paper is a great value for the price. The rolls are very large and because they are 1 ply vs 2 ply, the rolls last longer. This toilet paper is somewhat thin being 1 ply, but it is still fairly strong and absorbent. The biggest issue I had with Scott toilet paper was that it wasn't very soft feeling against my skin, especially if I needed to do multiple passes to get clean and I felt like I did need to use more to clean because it was thin. Aside from that, Scott has been great for our septic system because it dissolves much quicker than our regular toilet paper. Also, we have low-flow toilets which tend to clog easily but we definitely experienced fewer clogs since using Scott. I like that this toilet paper doesn't make a ton of dust or leave particles behind on your skin, which is particularly beneficial for females. Overall, I feel Scott is a great value for the money and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind if their toilet paper isn't super soft.

I buy this strictly for the value and because it doesn't clog our septic tank (we live in the country). It is one-ply and isn't the softest toilet paper on the market, but it does do what a toilet paper is expected to do. Very basic. No scent, no coloring.

That being said, this toilet is perfect for what we need. I only need to use a couple sheets to get clean and dry. The texture of the toilet paper isn’t my favorite and could be softer, but that’s if I had to fix something. We have had this package for a little over a month and are still on one roll!
