We have used Scott for years and usually buy the single rolls. The last few years the consistency of the tissue varies greatly from roll to roll. One will be thin and scratchy and the next softer. Sometimes the tissue is very flat and sometimes has faint lines on it. What is up with this? I will continue to use for now, but would love to know why we see such differences.

For 30 years I've insisted that my wife buy Scott, but for some years now I see inconsistencies: different patterns, different quality, different texture, different sturdiness; different perforation. Some are good; others aren't. I find myself often accusing my wife of sneaking in other brands. She assures me it's all Scott. How can this be? Are you manufacturing an inconsistent product? Are you simply buying up surplus toilet paper and packaging random stuff under your name? I don't know, but I'm not willing to fool around any longer. I told her she is free to buy any paper she likes. You can be certain it isn't going to be Scott.

Scott is great all around. Quality at a great price. It saves us money not only on the product itself but because our community has a grinder pump requirement it saves us on grinder pump repair/replacement service as well. Our only brand, we don't and won't buy anything else.

I am very disappointed, after using it for 25 years I am going to have to find a different toilet paper for my family. It is so thin I have to use 3 times more than before. Maybe that is the point to sale more, but I believe it will back fire because of customer satisfaction. I will not continue as a customer, I don't know what brought about the change but I am not happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Scott 1000 Sheet Toilet Paper. When it is wet it don’t tear up and get stuck in places where it doesn’t belong. It’s unscented, soft and thick enough to withstand a couple of pieces do the job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that it lasts so long and you don’t have to buy as much! We did use more than the one roll for a week like it was stating it would last. We have two 7 year olds. So they tend to use extra. I would say though, it’s a bit rougher than the soft kind of Scott paper. But overall it definitely good paper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Per usual Scott's never disappoints. The tissue absorbs well, durable and just the right amount if softness. I like the little bubbles on it to make the texture more comfortable. It's easy to dissolve and doesn't clip the toilet when used reasonably. It's worth the cost . A roll will last me for about 2.5 weeks.

We have been using Scott 1000 for all our married life, 2 children, 5 grandchildren. I take offense at your quality, misleading tv ads, & the fact that that you are telling other critical reviewers that the size & thickness of your product has not changed in "years". Really? As for recent ads we have seen, if any young child would not write on everything in the bathroom when provided markers & a white board, I would be very surprised. And, the measuring off 3 or 4 sheets of this thin paper is a joke if you think that is enough paper to use to "complete" the cleansing process. I wonder, is this the paper you use in your corporate offices?

As advertised, the tissue is thick and provides a plush soft feel. I like that this brand makes strong toilet paper that doesn't tear easily. I highly recommend Scott 1000 sheet toilet paper if you want to prioritize comfort and quality. Scott you have a customer for life.

I have been a customer of Scott 1000 for over 30 years. I started when an elementary student did a study and found for the quality and price this was the best value. This last 12 pack is decidely different. It is much thinner than the previous toilet paper. I am very disappointed. A few weeks ago I would have given this a 5, now it is a one maybe a two.
