[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sheets are too thin so I had to use more sheets to clean so, I don’t think it’s a good value even if it costs less than the leading brands. Also, it doesn’t absorb good enough and the texture feels more like a piece of newspaper. On the other hand, it is very good to know that this product is 100% biodegradable and safe for sewers.

The quality of Scott has certainly changed. I use to buy Scott tissues all the time and recently returned to buying a large package 20 rolls and it will be the last time I do so. The tissue paper is so thin it is like using nothing to wipe ones self. What happened to Scotts quality? I would rather purchase other quality tissues at a little more cost and know when cleaning my self my hands are not getting wet in doing so.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is great, but the texture is rough and hard. Is so thin that you have to use a big amount to actually absorb something. It says is clogged free and im guessing its because its really thin.

If your septic system can’t deal with the thick toilet paper, this is the stuff to use. My parents buy this stuff only. It isn’t the greatest toilet paper; it’s almost like dollar store quality. You will have to layer it up multiple times so you end up going through the rolls pretty quickly.

Scott has always been the best value in bath tissue. I see ads all the time for "softness". I don't mean to be insensitive but unless someone is ill or has a condition, doesn't sturdy trump soft when it comes to poo? The biggest plus however, is seldom mentioned. The #of sheets on the roll. Scott was the first and may still be the only toilet tissue with 1000 sheets. If you have a large family with several bathrooms, changing the roll can become annoying (especially when others so often forget - boys). 1 roll lasts as long as 2-3 of other brands. I know there are folks for whom softness is more important. Scotts is not for them. It's not rough like public restroom quality but it is not perfumed and it's not soft as "a cloud". If that's ok with you, you won't do better than Scotts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Scott 1000 toilet paper in the mail. I like the soft feel of the paper. There is also a lot of toilet paper in each roll. My only issue with the toilet paper is that it is pretty thin.

I find this toilet paper very cheap and effective. It gets the job done very well and it has a good set. If you have a sensitive back side then this might not be the toilet paper for you. But overall I do think that this is a good choice or toilet paper and not spending too much money thank you!

Either quality control is bad or the new product is really cheap. I bought a 20 pack of Scott 1000 and 8 rolls were noticeably different. I could see through the paper and it took more than twice as much to get the job done. After years of being a Scott customer, it's time to move on to a better brand.

Scott is my preferred toilet paper. My family prefers other brands, but Scott lasts SO much longer, and is much easier on the septic system. While it is a bit thinner than other brands, and not as plush, it still gets the job done, and it saves us quite a bit of money. In my opinion, it's well worth the savings!
