We started using Scotts when everything else was causing blockages and we were constantly having to call a plumber. Scotts is only one ply but it is better then others I've tried and it never clogs the toilet when my children decide to use a lot of it.

I know people enjoy soft paper for their bottom but then you get the soft paper all over your bottom as well as when it’s too soft it doesn’t break down in your septic system. This Scott tissue truly is long lasting and works perfect. I (knock on wood) don’t have issues with plumbing or back up.

A friend introduced me to Scott bathroom tissue 20 + years ago and I have faithfully used it ever since. Some people say it’s too thin, but I say it’s not bulky! You can cleanup in all the right places with NO tissue sticking! And, lasts FOREVER!!! To the people that have never tried it, TRY it! I still spread the word when the TP conversation come up!

First you made the roll smaller, and I still bought it. Now your paper is rough like the paper we used at camp. You told Cathy you didn't change the formula . However this is the first time Scott 1000 has been rough. I can send you some if you don't believe me. What's happening?

After my last purchase I decided to put the following review on Amazon: "I've been using Scott 1000 For as long as I can remember. My mom always bought it and and I followed suit. I had noticed a few years ago that the rolls were shorter (toilet paper holder now looks way too big), but I continued to buy it. Then a while back I noticed it was a bit thinner too, but I continued to buy it. I had a couple of rolls left from the last pkg (I always buy the 36 roll pkgs at the local wholesale club) so I compared the two and sure enough it was even shorter and EVEN THINNER (didn't think that was even possible). It is so thin, urine soaks right through to your hand! It is repulsiveness! I need to use THREE TIMES as much as before. It's understandable that manufacturing costs go up but the product shouldn't change, just the price. I would rather pay more money for a superior product then pay the same amount and get an inferior product. After 47 years I am forced to switch to a new toilet paper. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Someone at Scott's should be held accountable for their bright, money saving idea! Don't they realize how many loyal customers they are losing???" I suggest that someone from quality control check out the Scotts ratings and reviews on the Amazon site.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott Toilet paper has been a trusted brand in my household for many many years. All thought it is 1 ply , it really does hold up well when using . We also have an RV so we love knowing that our tanks are easy to clean and safe. Biodegradable and easy to dispose of. Just because some toilet paper is thicker doesn’t mean it works better, sometimes you’re using more for less. With Scott kind yes it’s thinner but the fact that it absorbs more than any thicker one you can count on me always choosing Scott.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper is so thin that you end up having to use a lot more. It disintegrates when wet. It's also unpleasantly rough considering the gentle areas it goes in. I would definitely not recommend.
