i used to use your scott 1000 all the time, but about 10 years ago it changed. i decided to try again, and it is even worse. hand gets urine on it every time. you have to use 4 to 6 times the length of 2 ply. the advertisement of 20 rolls last 20 weeks is fraudulent. im single and now using a roll every 2 days.

Scott is my all time favorite toilet paper. It may be thinner, but just use a little extra. Even using that little extra it still lasts longer than any other toilet paper. Have used this brand forever. Easier on the Septic system and with it lasting longer, also easier on the wallet.

AFTER SO MANY YEARS AND BEING THE ONLY BRAND WE USE AS SOON AS I OPENED THIS PACKAGE I NOTICED IT WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. IT WAS VERY THIN THE TEXTURE WAS DIFFERENT. BUT I THOUGHT HEY LETS SEE HOW IT DOES.. WELL MY 4YR OLD HAD VERY SLIGHT RED IRRITATION ON HIS BOTTOM TOOK HIM TO THE DR, DR SAID HE ACTUALLY HAD LIKE ABBRASIOS/SCRAPES N IF I HAD CHANGED DETERGENT OR HIS UNDERWEAR BRAND TO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. NOPE SAME STUFF.. WELL WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS I NOTICED I TOO WAS HAVING MY PRIVATES SCRAPED BY SOMETHING N AFTER ASKING MY WHOLE FAMILY WE NARROWED IT DOWN TO THE TOILET PAPER! I BUY MULTIPLE 12 PACKS AT A TIME SO I WENT AND OPENED THE OTHER PACKAGES 1 WAS STILL THE ORIGINAL 2 WERE NOT.. I SWITCHED IT OUT IMMEDIATELY AND THE PROBLEM WENT AWAY... SO I HAVE 24 ROLLS THAT I WASTED MY MONEY ON... AND WE ONLY HAVE 8 ROLLS LEFT OF THE GOOD STUFF SO IM DESPERATELY LOOKING TO FIND A NEW BRAND TO SWITCH TO THATS NOT TOO THICK AND CLOG OUR DRAINS. SOOOOOO DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!! I USED TO TELL EVERYONE HOW THIS BRAND HAD GREAT QUALITY AND WOULD LAST AND THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE... NOT ANYMORE... THATS REALLY TOO BAD!!! PLEASE SCOTT BRAND CONSIDER GOING BACK TO YOUR PREVIOUS VERSION OF THIS TOILET PAPER!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper is extremely thin. Yes it is a bigger roll but sometimes bigger isn't better. Compared to their regular double roll this one doesn't last as long. It tears and does not do a good job cleaning up.

I like quality, I like quantity and I like value and I get all three with this product. I also dont like to empty my pockets to get what I want and this product doesn't require me to do so. No matter where I go to find it, it is always cost efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't Nowhere to But I was Please it really cleaned my bottom well, hope it isn't MI but It did, it was 30 it did not fall apart and process of doing its job of wiping my bottom, is state intact nothing came through or leak through, and it didn't clog up my toilet which is very important and also it lasted very long. I think Scott tissue and my bottom thanks Scott tissue.

I trust that it won’t affect my sensitive plumbing but will still do its job. Honestly, I feel cleaner using this toilet paper than the fancy, thick paper that ultimately leaves pieces behind. Definitely recommend.

But I feel like you end up using double the toilet paper anyways. My family prefers double ply. If you like single ply I would definitely recommend

I don’t like how thin this toilet paper is. I feel like you have to use a lot of it because if you don’t it’ll bleed through the toilet paper. The only reason I got this brand was because Mom bought it for me. I don’t think I’d buy it again because it kind of feels like sandpaper on my bottom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott toilet paper was most likely a first choice for many when it came to inexpensive purchases for that first apartment - along with Ramen noodles and non-fat dry milk! It hasn't changed much over the years - still unscented, but seems softer on the skin. One side is smooth while the other contains what look like micro-dot perforations, giving the paper a slightly "grippy" feel (bonus points for that!). Even with a bit of doubling up it did tear somewhat at times, but fortunately didn't cause any "accidents". The product efficiently does the job without the need to mindlessly wad - which is better for the pipes and the environment. Even with daily use for 3 toilets, a little more than half a roll in each bathroom has been used in 4 days between 2 adults. One toilet is a low flow that notoriously clogs, but so far there haven't been any mishaps. Some brand name diehards may not want to give this a try, but I think Scott 4,000 is a good, economical switch-off from 2-ply brands.
