Several years ago we had 4 kids living in the house and would go through a lot of toilet paper. We were looking for cheaper options and decided to try Scott. It was a change going from 2 ply toilet paper to a thin 1 ply toilet paper. The toilet paper holds up really well and lasts a long time. Now that it is just 3 of us in the house we still buy it every time.

It is not thick and soft so if that is what you look for in toilet paper then this would not be something to purchase. It does not rip easily, but it feels like you need to use a lot because it is so thin.

It’s soft, which is nice, but really thin—so you might end up using more than you’d expect. It works fine, but if I had options, I’d definitely go for a two-ply version for that extra durability. The only complaint I have is they changed it recently from 2 ply to 1 ply. It is almost see through now. However, with that said I would still buy it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I having been buying Scott tissue 1000 sheets since my first apartment. I grew up using it , an like nothing else. I've tried the charmins,cottonelle, generics the other 1000's sheet brands. Nothing compares to my Scotts tissue, nothing.

I have used this product for its septic safety since moving into a rural New Mexico home in 2010. It has worked well until recently; the last two packages of this product purchased recently have been so poorly perforated that it is impossible to get clean segments without cutting with scissors, which is ridiculous! I will not buy this product again.
