It’s not the softest out there, but it’s durable and goes a long way — perfect for families or anyone trying to reduce how often they restock. Absorbency is decent, and it holds up well. Plus, the value for money is great.

I have been purchasing Scott 1000 sheets for awhile as did my mother before me. She said it was the best above the rest and it certainly is. It is soft, it is durable, septic safe and it is the best value for your buck. I always look at the sq ft usage and it still is the best above the rest in value.

This is the affordable toilet paper that most college students buy. While there are better brands (think Charmin), this is the one that works easiest in a college student's typical rock n roll of a day. Although it isn't my favorite in terms of softness, it works, and it's affordable.

I have used Scott toilet tissue for about 50 years and will continue BUT for the first time I now have to fight to get the roll started. The end of the first paper appears to have been glued to the roll so the roll stays rolled instead of coming loose. It's very annoying. What is the reason for this change? I've heard of people complaining about this same thing before but this is the first time I've had to tear through the first few layers to get the roll started.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure what to expect with this Scott Brand one ply toliet paper, but it is one of the best! This toliet paper dissolves 10x faster then other one ply brands. You can actually see it start to dissolve after a few seconds in the water. I really like how safe this is for your septic system. This toliet paper is soft and strong for being one ply. It doesn't leave behind any particles after using. I would highly recommend.

I have bought Scott 1000 from Sam’s for several years now, and had been very pleased with the quality. I pay a premium for it compared to other single ply, septic safe brands, and the higher price, I assume, is based on the fact that each roll is individually wrapped. However, as of late I have noticed that rolls of tissue are poorly perforated and do not tear off cleanly. Perhaps your company could discard wrapping the individual rolls and redirect thatk expenses to improving your perforation equipment. I cannot continue paying a premium price for a less than premium product.

Scott is the only brand of toilet paper that i would buy , for many many years. Its just not the same anymore. Sometime the paper comes off in strips when you get to the end of the roll. The ones without the roll is a joke. I will never buy it again. Ive written to scott about the problems and never got a response. The extra soft clogs my toilet and the paper is gone in no time. Doesnt last long at all.Only bought extra soft once and never again.

So I was expecting it to be similar. Was disappointed that it only had one layer and is super thin. I don’t think I would purchase this in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What you think of this toilet paper will depend entirely on what you’re looking for in TP. This Scott’s toilet paper is so thin; it’s opaque. It’s not necessarily rough when you’re using it, but it’s not pleasant to use either. I felt like I needed to use a lot to make sure I wasn’t going to get pee on my hands when wiping. Our family will not be purchasing this product in the future because we are willing to spend more to have a soft, thick toilet paper. But if you are cost conscious, don’t really care what your toilet paper feels like, or if you have pipes that are easily clogged, I would recommend this toilet paper for you. I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott’s 1000 Toilet Paper isn’t cushioned with layers, but it does a good job and easy on my septic system. The only hang up I have with Scott’s is trying to get the first couple of sheets off the roll. The sheets are stuck and I end up wasting at least a few sheets ripping it apart. There should be an easy solution.
