[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can’t go wrong with Scott. A brand I trust and know, and have used in my family for years. Appreciate that this brand shares my values of caring for the environment as the majority of this TP is made from recycled materials. In my opinion, most toilet papers are pretty much the same when it comes down to it, so knowing im supporting a brand who cares for our planet is an added bonus! Price is what you’d expect for toilet paper - I’m not complaining, although, the smaller packages aren’t really the greatest value.

We like to get this thin toilet paper. You would think since it's thin, you would use more - nope, not here. This toilet paper isn't the most comfortable but we don't care about that here. Whatever gets the job done the cheapest. This toilet paper and Staples are the best value.

In addition to my previous review, I just want to say that 6 months ago my review would have completely different - 5 stars across the board. I would never buy a different product. I think that is why I'm so unhappy with the product now. They took a superior product and made it inferior at the superior price.

However, it’s not particularly strong or textured so if those are things you look for, I advise you to look elsewhere. The rolls are good for my old, small toilet paper holder that has trouble accommodating the big “fluffy” TP rolls, so that is a plus.

I have used Scott brand T.P. for more than twenty years. It is not the same quality that it used to be. It's 1 ply instead of two, It just dissolves away in seconds, so the value is no longer there either. I will not be buying Scott 1000 anymore. From Long time customer

I can buy a huge pack of this toilet paper and make it last almost the entire year for my household. It's a thinner cheaper type of toilet paper but it's not rough or harsh. It's a good choice for someone on a budget that doesn't need clouds to wipe.

Your toilet paper has now gotten a strong chemical odor, and it didn't before. This is not a scent that been added, and nobody I talked to has believed that. Others are noticing it too. I am forced to switch brands with others who feel the same but want to switch back. This was a mistake, please change back soon or more than likely it will start hurting your sales. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A miss for me and my family. I held it up next to what we were currently using and the Scotts is on the right. You can see the difference and how thin it is. Single ply, no quilting or substance to it. Another picture is it hanging in our toilet paper rack (old house) and you can see how thin it is. Not soft. Definitely something I would expect in a public bathroom. Not sure if it would be a good value because you need to use double for absorption. I do see they do make a quilted option that might be better but this is not something I would buy for my family. Obviously better than nothing in an emergency or if someone has a bidet and just needs to pat things dry.

I stick with this original, as I have a septic system and it does not clog it or create any havoc, thank sweet baby Jesus! It does the job it's supposed to do, and that's all I have to say about that, lol. I don't need any extra or anything fancy, as I tend to find that “soft cushion” kind, bunches up, and you end up using more. So I'll stick with the good old original, it's great and works for us!

My Mom bought this brand when I was a kid also. We had a family of 7. I can see why she bought it. It lasts much longer. Their is only 3 of us in my household. So, it is not on your grocery list every couple weeks. I buy 2 to 3 - 12 packs and it will last us all winter. I don't have to worry about running out or getting out to go buy some. When I get down to my last pack I start looking for sales. I save a lot of money.
