Our household has been using Scott Tissue exclusively for over 21 year, usually purchasing it in the 20 roll packages from Wal-Mart, but always purchasing Scott brand because we were happy with its texture and quality. However, over the past year, we have noticed that its quality has been declining rapidly. At first we would find an occasional roll that had been poorly perforated. With subsequent purchases during the past year, this became more apparent as the "occasional" poorly perforated roll became increasingly more numerous to the point that it is seemingly becoming the norm now. A recent purchase had several rolls with decent perforations but also had almost as many that were poorly perforated and one roll actually had NO perforations at all. Conjunctively, we have noticed that more and more rolls had been raggedly and sloppily cut askew of square. The poor perforations have contributed to unnecessary waste as well as presenting a very untidy appearance. Sad to say, but after reading the Kimberly-Clark corporate 'cookie-cutter' style replies about being sorry that its product does not meet [the dissatisfied consumer's] needs, it appears obvious that Scott Tissue most likely will not return to a quality product any time soon. And speaking of conjunctions, we also noticed the rapid decline in product quality seemed to coincide with the national "tubeless rolls" advertising campaign to save the world from the dubious environmental threat of a landfill filled with a biodegradable waste while ignoring the real environmental hazard posed by the plastic wrapper used to package your product. I mean, SERIOUSLY? Due to such a juxtaposition, I personally find it difficult not to suspect that the true corporate impetus to help the environment is most likely an increase in things that are green — not the kind with leaves, but rather the kind with the faces of several past U.S. presidents — gained from decreasing a production cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper is my absolute favorite toilet paper to use so when I was considered to review it I was actually pretty excited! For some reason our toilet clogs up quite a bit which is kinda annoying therefore we try our best to avoid that issue and the best way I found was to use Scotts 1ply! For the most part we very rarely have any issues when we use Scotts! Not to mention it is also the only brand that seems to last the longest in this house... give it a try Im pretty sure u will be a huge fan afterwards...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is not uncomfortable in any way but it isn't cottony-soft if that's what your looking for. but it degrades easily in the septic system and that is great. I will continue to purchase Scott's 1000 sheets .

Hands down best toilet paper on the market that I’ve tried. Does not leave toilet residue on your downstairs if you know what I mean. It also lasts about twice as long as most other rolls. It’s a bit expensive, but it pays off in performance and efficiency.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had used Scott for a while, but recently tried another brand which you get a big box store and is one of those "thicker, quilted" toilet papers. The difference in how much easier Scott works with your plumbing is incredible. I like being able to take more sheets of paper, per use, than having to worry about possibly clogging my plumbing from paper that is too thick or won't easily come apart, when added to the water. Scott worked perfectly - cleaned effectively, held up nicely, and doesn't seem to "fight" with your toilet paper holder, due to it being overly bulky. I highly recommend this product and I bet your future plumbers will, too!

Dear Scott CS: Eight rolls from a 36 count plastic bag of Scott 1000 unscented bathroom tissue rolls did not have the cardboard insert for easy replacement. We purchased the 36 count bag from BJ Wholesale Club in Amherst NY last month. This is the first time ever that this happened to us over several years of purchasing your products, so kudos to your quality control team! Nevertheless, would you be able to compensate us in some way for the hastle of cutting holes and wasting some of your product?

While it isn’t super soft but then again you don’t have all the lint coming off of this paper. It is single ply and quite thin feeling it feels pretty durable I really like that it dissolves 10x faster to promote clog free pipes. I will definitely look into SCOTT tissue

This toilet paper is the absolute worse. I grew up on this product, and this 1 ply now compared to back thin is terrible. I can not believe this product has become so thin that you could see thru it. Please do better. I will not be purchasing this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try these because I had great experiences with Scott products before and I wanted to find toilet paper that I can flush down since my plumbing is quite old. I end up using so much of these single ply papers for each wipe. The texture is not as soft as the current toilet paper I use, but it gets the job done.

Have used Scott TP entire life, 1000 single ply is sufficient and better for manufacuring impact on environment, etc. However, this year, the quality is not the same. Way too thin. Previous comment replies by the company indicate Scott did not change the product, but several comments indicate it sure seems to have changed, including a side-by-side comparison. Somehow the product changed.
