My kids seem to always go through toilet tissue fast but with how absorbent and strong this tissue's is a roll lasted way longer than usual. The texture isn't bad for myself or family they didnt even know the difference so no complaints there as it is not uncomfortable to use. Even though it's 1-ply it's actually much stronger than you would think. 1 roll with 1000 sheets lasted my family (myself, hubby and 14 year old son) almost a full week. Other brands get used up in 2-3 days which gets so expensive. I give this toilet paper 2 thumbs up!
