It does have a quilted pattern on the individual pieces. It is very thin so I feel like you have to use quite a bit, but since it is safe for septics and sewers alike, my thought process with kids especially, is a lot of thin paper is still better than a lot of thicker paper like other brands. This does breakdown in water easily. The perforation doesn’t always tear nicely but again I believe this is due to the single ply. This is what we use in our house and will continue to use with young kids at home.
