I bought items online because they said there was a discount, and I added the maximum allowed to my cart. However, when I tried to check out, the prices were still at the regular rate, not the discounted one. I went to Sam's club store customer service, and they told me to call the provided phone number. When I called, they said to purchase the items at the regular price first and then call back after receiving them for a price adjustment. After getting the items, I called again for the adjustment, but they only offered to adjust the price for ONE ITEM, saying it's Sam's policy. The first representative didn't mention this policy at all—only that I should call back and ask to speak with a supervisor if needed. But now, the second representative says even speaking with a supervisor won't change anything and refuses to transfer me. I've been on hold for over 30 minutes. She just hung up.

I thought it was just me but after reading other reviews, I now realize others are having the same issue. Started using Scott 1000 1-ply many years ago when I had a roommate who for some reason always seemed to clog the toilet every other day. Decided to give a 1-ply toilet brand a try to see if that would fix the clogging issue. It did. Yeah. My complaint is I've noticed over the years this brand no longer seems to be 1-ply but extremely thin causing more toilet paper to be used plus it comes apart while being used. No clogging of the toilet, yet I'm tired of looking down under and constantly seeing bits of the toilet paper still "stuck" on me after wiping or even seeing small bits of it on the floor after I stand up if I forget to "look" to make sure there are no pieces left down under. As soon as you wipe, the toilet paper falls apart . How I know it's this toilet paper brand is because when I'm away from home and use toilet paper elsewhere, I never have any issues with that toilet paper coming apart after wiping or leaving pieces of it down under. Even though 1-ply, still should be stronger and not as thin. I even tried the 2-ply toilet paper they sell at Dollar Tree just to test it out. No "pieces" of that toilet paper left behind on me at all; yet when I go back to using Scott 1-ply, toilet paper comes apart as you wipe which causes pieces to come off. It's too the point that after I go through this stack, I'm going back to purchasing/using a 2 ply toilet paper.

Scott 1000 Sheet toilet paper is a practical, long-lasting option that works well for everyday use. Even though it's 1-ply, it's more durable than I expected and doesn't tear easily. The texture is simple and not too soft, but it gets the job done without falling apart. It's also surprisingly absorbent for its thickness, which makes it reliable and efficient. One of the best things is how long each roll lasts-you don't have to replace it constantly. It's definitely a good value if you prefer a basic, dependable toilet paper without a lot of fluff

Quality control over the thickness of Scott toilet paper has been nonexistent for years. I've personally reported serious issues with it but it was never corrected. Now add more problems: some sheets aren't even connected on the rolls, some rolls have no end of the sheets but appear to be entwined somehow which requires you to rip an opening in order to unroll it, some sheets are missing most of the areas which makes it like lace with huge areas missing, a lot of rolls are super thin which then requires folding into 6-8 ply instead of 4 to keep from getting your hands wet, cardboard roll is bent which makes it awkward when spinning on toilet paper dispenser. I've used this brand forever but it's just not worth the trouble and loss of money anymore since the company seems to not be concerned with quality control of their product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Scott 1000 Sheet toilet paper and found that while the roll is larger by sheet compared to Amazon's septic safe toilet paper I usually use, the individual sheets are noticeably thinner. The Amazon brand is wider and thicker. I prefer the softer feel of the Amazon brand. That said, Scott does have the advantage of leaving very little lint, which I appreciated. The Scott brand is easy to tear, and again leaves very little lint when tearing. Overall, it's not my top choice for comfort, but I would buy Scott again if it were on sale.

We have used Scott toilet tissue for 40 years. it has gotten thinner and cheaper over the years. But this recent purchase takes the cake. It leaves balls and residue behind ( pardon the pun) and causes horrible itching. I don't think I have ever used any toilet paper that is lousier. We always used it because it was highly recommended for septic systems. I will not purchase it ever again. We will have to take our chances with something else. Shame on Scott for going so cheap that you lose even your most faithful customers.
