I worked for a plumber many years ago and was told Scott doesn't expand like 2 ply brands and its safer for sewers and septic tanks. I have never forgotten that and always bought it. It lasts longer, doesn't have the perfume fake smell and I would never switch.

Even though it’s 1-ply, it’s surprisingly durable and doesn’t rip easily. The perforation is clean and makes it easy to use without wasting any. The brand claims these 4 rolls can last up to a month, and I totally believe it, it’s spot on for everyday use in a household. Over Thanksgiving, our home was buzzing with guests, and we relied on just two rolls across two bathrooms. Despite the heavy traffic and frequent flushing, we still had plenty left on each roll. No clogs or issues, even though it’s single ply. We used to have a septic system, and this stuff was always gentle on it, thinner sheets mean less bulk going down, which is a huge plus. Now that we’re on city sewage, it’s even less of a worry, but the durability holds up remarkably well. Sure, the single ply is thinner, so you might need to use a few more sheets per go, but overall, I feel like I’m using way less paper than with thicker brands. It’s lightweight, absorbent enough for good coverage, and doesn’t leave residue. Unscented is perfect, no artificial smells to irritate sensitive skin. At this price point, it’s a budget friendly essential that doesn’t skimp on quality. Highly recommend for busy families!
