I've had my FoodSaver for a year and half and use it weekly, if not more. I had bought generic bags and had zero problems with this. Bought this combo and most of the rolls have creases/wrinkles on both outer 1/4 of the bags, which affects a clean seal when making bags. Won't waste the $ on these again, even if it's a fairly good deal. Not when I spend so much time trying to get a good seal.

I love these bags, and was so glad to have found the combo variety box. They can also be rinsed out, dried, and used again. I buy meat in bulk, wrap individually, then vacuum seal for the freezer. Also great for cheese in the fridge. Will certainly keep my eye out for these when I run out. Which for all that you get, will be a while.

Have owned various models of FS units over the years. The most useful one was the original version, with the manual (NOT automatic) locking tabs. My issue is with the latest version of plastic roll material. It appears to have become noticeably thinner over the years, and the last box of rolls purchased are WORTHLESS. Just threw out ANOTHER expensive piece of spoiled (freezer-burnt) meat from the freezer, this time a four-pound pork roast. EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF FOOD sealed in this latest version of plastic has eventually leaked air. EVERY ONE. Items appear to be sealed, after much effort with the 'fully automated' machine, and just a week or so in the freezer, EACH item has 'breathed' and contains air. I would NOT recommend either these plastic rolls nor any FS vacuum sealer product.

Finally ready to get some more bags and I have to say I was more than pleased.... until I got to the end of the second to last roll. The bags were so wrinkled when they were rolled that my vacuum sealer wouldn't stop until I manually stopped it and at that point I could actually see the air coming back into the bag. Had good luck with the rest of the box so hopefully it was just one bad roll! Will give it another try!

Food Saver recently changed the bags, and they have since become next to worthless. If you try cooking anything in these in hot water, the bags will separate every single time and not always from the part you sealed. No, half the time it'll be the factory made sides that split open. If I could give them negative stars I would.
