i use them mostly for scrubbing fresh vegetables when i don't want to peel them. also good on the grill,stove top and if i, oops, burn a pan

These things do not wear out. I throw them in the washing machine regularly and they just hang around forever. Well worth the money.

Sponges get "sour", paper towels shred, wash clothes get nasty looking BUT this Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty scour pad lasts and lasts and looks good too.
