Whenever my husband and I purchase scour pads for cleaning, we only look to Scotch Brite pads. They are strong enough to do the trick without harming our appliances/sink/floors/counters. Whatever the job, we know Scotch Brite will hold up and do the job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these for every dish I have, they are great for cleaning the bathtub & bathroom sink, getting marks off the floor, and anything else I can think of. When I have these in the house I don't use anything else for scrubbing. I even use them for crafts such as ceramics. They can be used to remove the seams from greenware or sand down a rough area. Wet them and you can totally redo a piece of greenware. I run my needles thru a piece of scrubby to keep it sharp.

I love this product! I use it on pots,pans,stove top, oven, marble counter tops, tile stain remover, and tough spots on my patio windows. I used to own a restaurant, forty years ago. We only used scotch- brite scouring pads for our pots and pans clean-up. They were reliable and the best commercial brand that we could buy. Now that I am retired I still use scotch-brite scouring pads for my at home pots and pans. They cost a little more than some brands, but they last longer and clean surfaces without damage. I am a scotch-brite user for life.

I've been using Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scour Pads for years. I generally cut them into smaller pieces. When I use a new one, I don't press down too hard unless it's for a tough job, like cleaning flower pots or a really dirty pan or even my porcelain sink when it has streaks and stains. As the pad softens, I use it regularly on my stainless and nonstick cookwear and for removing utensil marks from my white dishes. I keep one with my bathroom cleaning supplies, too, just in case I need a bit more action to get the job done. I like these so much that I now buy them in a large quantity. That way I won't run out and I can give some to my grown children for them to use in their own homes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Scotch Brite Heavy Duty pad is perfect for my tougher jobs. I use it to clean off my fireplace insert windows and crusted on frying pans. It won't scratch like steel wool and is so easy to use. You have to use some elbow grease if the object is stubborn but it works much better than others I have tried. I will continue to use this pad and recommend it highly to my friends and family.

I have used scotch-brite for at least 30yrs and can"t say enough about them. I have introduced many friends and relatives to them. Especially after they have seen what a beautiful job they do cleaning pots and pans. And if used lightly can be used on ceramic top stoves. The guys love them when washing cars. And since steel wool is a no-no on yatchs near salt water i have made many friends with first mates. I nicknamed it "scrubbie" and everyone that knows me knows what I'm talking about!
