To conserve energy during the summer we turn off our water heater and heat water when we need it. Due to the hard water we have in our area our pans build up mineral deposits and cause the water to take longer to heat. We don't like using chemicals unless there is no other way to get the item clean. With your heavy duty scouring pads we don't have to use chemicals to clean the pans we use for heatig water. It takes very little strength to get the mineral deposits off the pans. We also use them to clean the sink in the kitchen which is over 100 years old and cleaners don't get it clean. Even though I have used these for years, there has never been a job that these pads can't do. They work 100 times better than Mr. Clean scouring pads.

This is an unusual review but a creative way to use a Scotch-Brite product. The hubby and I volunteered to scrub and wrap large baking potatoes for an upcoming Christmas dinner party for our church. There were 125 potatoes, to be exact. We tried using a vegetable brush to no avail. Having just bought some Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scour Pads which have no soap in them,I cut them in half and we each quickly and easily scrubbed those potatoes clean! After rinsing and drying the potatoes, we wrapped them in foil and delivered them to several homes to be baked. Without the Scotch-Brite scour pads helping us, we would have been scrubbing those potatoes for many, many hours!

Heavy duty scoring pads help make tough cleaning jobs a cinch. I use them to scour hard, stuck on foods to pans and bakeware. I also use them outside to clean the whitewalls on tires and to clean trash cans and chrome trim on cars and bicycles. They do not fall apart and I know that I can rely on them to help me get tough jobs done right the first time without soaking and pre-treating. They are reliable and a real time saver.

The scotch brite scour pads are the greatest. When you have something stuck on your pan or the grease buildup on that skillet just a little dish detergent and this cour pad will clean it up quickly. These pads do not break apart and leave little pieces of metal in your hand it does the job and just rinse and put it away until the next time that you need to clean. It works great on any surface and will not scratch or harm surfaces. Easy on your hands also. Thanks for making a great product.

I really love these pads because they make my clean up much easier. They are heavy duty, durable and do not scratch the surfaces that I clean. I also like these pads since I cut them to the appropriate size for my cleaning surface and I am also sharpening my scissors at the same time. I really love it when I get coupons for this item because I know then I am really saving on money as well as my time.

I absolutely love this product! It is amazing how quickly I do up the dishes with just a quick swipe to take off hardened food from the dishes. Then when I am finished I do a quick swipe on my stainless steel sink and it is shining! Then I'm ready to leave that kitchen and enjoy my evening!

I have used the Scotch Brite Scour pads for years a long with several other Scotch Brite products and will not even consider using any other. They get the job done in record time and are reasonably priced. I would give this product 5 stars for effectiveness and quality and durability. I give the Heavy Duty Scour Pad 5 stars for excellent. I absolutely love these pads; I do not use anything else. I use these pads to clean my glasstop stove, my outdoor grill, my granite counter tops and my pots and pans. What a great invention. I put a little dishsoap and water on the pad and scour away.
