Not only does this product work as well as a steel wool pad but beats the steel wool because you can reuse it many, many times. Another advantage of this product is that unlike steel wool you don't have to worry about getting the occasional steel wool splinter!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Scotch Brite Heavy Duty pad is perfect for my tougher jobs. I use it to clean off my fireplace insert windows and crusted on frying pans. It won't scratch like steel wool and is so easy to use. You have to use some elbow grease if the object is stubborn but it works much better than others I have tried. I will continue to use this pad and recommend it highly to my friends and family.

That's why I LOVE this product as well as other Scotch Brite products. It doesn't take effort to clean the caked on messes on my countertops or sink. I've had to clean up after the kids leave their plates on the stove, in the sink, in the bathroom and under the bed. These heavy duty scrub pads by Scotch-Brite are the Only scrub pads I use. They clean the plates, silverware, stove and sink with ease. Even after the food has been left on the plate for days. Excellent product.
