Although the products are designed for in home use we find them great for in the garage as well. When working in the garage we use them to help clean buildup from engine use and gasket sealers left behind before reassembling it. It leaves less grit behind that can get into carbrators and clog jets making an engine run improperly. Way to go on multi use products.

Not only does this product work as well as a steel wool pad but beats the steel wool because you can reuse it many, many times. Another advantage of this product is that unlike steel wool you don't have to worry about getting the occasional steel wool splinter!!

SCOTCH BRITE HEAVY DUTY SCOURPAD works great I don't even need to use elbow grease it's in the pad already as soon as i swipe it wipes the pot or pan clean, off comes the gravy, not rubbing hard just using the heavy duty pad and for cleaning greaase off the stove it is awesome it doesn't scratch and whatever yuckiness is on the silver pan holder or white oven comes clean, the microwave splatter and popping comes off with a swipe it's a superdoopergetoffthegoober pad that is the only pad i use to get my kitchen clean!!!! For heavy pans with burnt-on food or grease, Scotch-Brite(R) Heavy Duty Scour Pad is the only product that actually gets the pans clean. The pads are flexible and get into tight spaces or can be cut to size if they are too big. Also, the pads last a long time, through many uses. When I was a restaurant cook, we used these every day on our pans, grill grates, flat-tops--everything.

I used the Heavy Duty scour pad while in college for my personal bathroom, my roommate was a slob and so I cleaned for the two of us. For all of the surfaces in my room this product was great and damaged nothing. Grime on the sink, tub and even toilet (I used separate ones for each) came right off with a little soap, and these scouring pads. I had great results. The only thing holding it back was that around the sink i ended up using three or four pads throughout the 9 months at school for one area.

This stuff is great. My sink and shower actualy sparkle, they are so clean, but unfortunately I found out the hard way, Do not use them on a mirror because it will leave scratches but it's ok because I'm not very pretty so the less I see of my face the better.

From scrubbing soap scum from the bathtub to cleaning the countertops and sink, these little green jewels are fantastic. When I have a really dirty baked on messy pot, they are the first thing I reach for. I LOVE THESE PADS!!!

I was at our cabin and had a problem with a broiling pan. It was old and had not been cleaned in a long time. I was about to throw it out and buy a new one and remembered that I had brought up a scotch brite pad....so, i went to work on the pan. after about 5 mins. of scrubbing...the old pan looked like new...didn't take much time or effort and now i can spent the extra money i saved on a cold frosty drink..and still have the old pan that i loved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Scotch Brite scouring pads for the tough jobs such as cleaning the bathroom sink, the bath tub, the oven and the outside of appliances that get that stuck on muck that you just can't seem to remove any other way. For example, my refrigerator is in a cubby hole next to the sink, and when I pull it out to clean that side, it's just so dreadful once you see what is there that you have to clean. Things get spilled in between the sink and fridge, especially if you have kids, or someone that shakes, like I do on occasion, and it makes a mess. I honestly don't know what I would do without these scouring pads, it saves a lot of work and time just having them when I need them. I am disabled and I can't stand very long at a time. These give me the tools I need to be able to continue to do my job as a home-maker/house-keeper, without them, I would hate to think of the things I could no longer accomplish on my own. Great product.
