The3M Heavy Duty Scour Pad is a cleaning pad I cannot do without. It is the right size and works so much better than the old brass metal scour pads, or steel wool, that it is ridiculous to compare them. The 3m Heavy Duty Scour Pads are tough enough for any scrubbing task but you will not be picking metal shards out of your hands or destroying the finish of your pots and pads. I have been using 3M Scour Pads for years and I will never switch. In fact I was using 3M Scour Pads longer than they have been on the market. I started using them when a friend gave me a few round green scour pads and told me they were the center punch-outs from the 3M floor polishing pads used on the commercial electric polishers. This was way back in the 1970's and 3M was going green even then. These pads would normally be tossed as manufacturing waste but 3M was selling them to employees for a nickle a piece. At that time the only way you could get them was to know somebody that worked for 3M and could get them at the 3M Employee Store. Then somebody at 3M decided to sell them to the public and thus was born the best scour pad made in the 20th century (or the 21st century for that matter). They come in all shapes and sizes now and can't be beat for toughness against grime while still being soft enough not to destroy what is being cleaned. From its humble beginnings as industrial scrap to the premier scour pad of two centuries, I give kudos to the 3M Heavy Duty Scour Pad!

We always buy the Heavy Duty Scour Pads because we know whether it is a pot or pan or a grill that needs to be cleaned, that cooked on food will definitely be gone with little muscle power! Recently we bought a home that was an estate sale. The person had been sick for a long time and was unable to clean. They also smoked and the walls even needed cleaning. This pad saved me hours of muscle power. With the extra grip the pad has it grabbed the junk off whatever I needed to clean. It's flexability was also important for different jobs around the home. I was able to bend the pad just the right way and clean cabinets and tiles etc.I also used the pads on some yard ornaments clean up and it worked great. Thanks

I worked in restaurants through the 70's as a teenager. That is when I first used this product , and in the 80's I found them in stores after marriage . As an avid cook , I have been using them since. No products on the market compares for modern as well as older cookware and appliances

This is a must have. I use a dishwasher but I always rinse things out. I hate letting things set with hot water so I will wipe the dishes out with this, if need be. Works like a charm. I have tried cheaper brands but end up with big scratches which is just not acceptable. This is THE best scour sponge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutly love these green heavy duty Scotch Brite Pads. I have already had friends and family switch from their SOS pads to these. I clean so many things with these pads I buy them in bulk because for each thing I use them for I keep them separate. I have one for dishes, one for bathroom tub and sink, one for my grill, one for my cats litter box, one for washing the rims on my truck and one for misc. cleaning. They last for quite a while and I replace them as needed. They don't scratch my tub or sinks. They are the best think out there for scrubbing. So I tell people to get rid of their messy SOS pads and switch to these. There are 5 people in my family and friends that since they switched thanked me for saving them money and the mess from the SOS Pads. I love them.

I have used the heavy duty scour pads for over 30 years now, & I'm just as happy with them as ever. You can use them on just about everything & they do not scratch. They are strong & last a long time, I use mine untill there is almost nothing left of them. I would recommend them to anyone, I love them.

I sent my fiance to purchase some new scouring pads for our kitchen. We use them everywhere in the house for the scratches on the floor, to the bathrooms, to the kitchen. Their terrific. Instead he went to a dollar store and purchased something that looked like the scouring pads. After one use, I sent him back to the store with your label (we had it in the cupboard)to purchase the REAL product. That product seemed like nothing compared to your scouring pad. Like I say, you get what you pay for. I always use your product and always will.

Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty scour pads are a must in my kitchen! Use them daily for pots and pans (mine are stainless steel) and just general cleaning. I have tried the less expensive,generic brands of scour pads and they just don't do the job. Scotch-Brite are the only ones I buy!

There may be others that look the same but none of them match Scotch Brite heavy duty scouring pads. I always use these, but while helping clean up after a church dinner I was using a green scouring pad that pretty much disinegrated as I used it. I looked under the sink and found it was just some store brand. Sometimes store brands can be okay, but I can use the Scotch Brite scouring pad for a long time and they still don't look like this one did after one use!
