When compared to steel wool pads there is no comparison-Heavy Duty Scour Pads win hands down! They are wonderful...you do not have to keep changing pads because they are worn out nor does it irritate the skin on your hands or fingers. I usually use this product to clean everything from fridge doors to countertops and the stove top,even burnt on food is not a problem with these little green wonders!!! Great product!

My husband does the dinner dishes, including the pots and pans, and he won't use anything but Scotch brite scrubing pads. They are the only brand he will use. They make clean up a snap. No scrubbing needed... just wipe the pans with scotch brite and it's done.

I have been using these little magical scrubs as I like to call them. Nothing works better or comes close to it. It works tough on stains and its easy on my hands. When I use for my stove, what I love the most it does the work for me. I dont have to keep scrubbing back and forth. And the durabilityits amazing. That's why I call them my little magical scrubs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have kids. Well their not kids; they are almost 21 year old twins who eat constantly and never, ever clean up after themselves. That's why I LOVE this product as well as other Scotch Brite products. It doesn't take effort to clean the caked on messes on my countertops or sink. I was hesitant at first because I didn't want to scratch any of my kitchen surfaces but WOW; it doesn't. So off to their bathroom I go as well. WONDERFUL PRODUCTS!

I cut these in half, use them for cleaning dishes, stove top, one for the shower, one for sink, gets water marks off dog bowls, hard water marks off faucet, cleans just about everything without scratching and when it gets old you don't mind throwing it away and getting another. All I've used for scouring in 10 years and have no plans to use anything else.

I dont even think about it. the scotch brite heavy duty scour pads have always been a necessity in my kitchen and bath. They are great for cleaning dishes. They are used to scour sinks and tubs. I also use them when cleaning my stove or cleaning my grill. Gee dosent everyone use these. oh yea I have tried cheaper brands but they do not work as well or last as long.

This is a staple in my home- I use this pad to do the obvious- scrub those stubborn burnt on stains on the bottom of my pots and pans. I also use it to scrub that caked on dirt in flower pots, dried food from dog and cat bowls, soap scum on shower doors and anything else that needs a major scrub to get stubborn stains and dirt off ANYTHING. I've even used it to get paint spots off a pane glass window. I couldn't get my things done around the house without this scour pad- it is the first thing I go to when I need to scrub something. It holds up for several cleanings and doesn't crumble away like other scrub sponges I have used.

I used the Heavy Duty scour pad while in college for my personal bathroom, my roommate was a slob and so I cleaned for the two of us. For all of the surfaces in my room this product was great and damaged nothing. Grime on the sink, tub and even toilet (I used separate ones for each) came right off with a little soap, and these scouring pads. I had great results. The only thing holding it back was that around the sink i ended up using three or four pads throughout the 9 months at school for one area.

I use Scotch Brite heavy duty pads daily, they are used to clean my ceramic stove top, dishes, greasy foot prints from hubby when he forgets to remove footwear when he comes in from the shop and I also use them to clean-up his mess in the bathroom sink. Those are the main jobs I use them for. They save me alot of heart-ache. They are reliable to get the job done right the first time, well worth my moneys worth.
