I have been a regular consumer of extra crunchy Jif for more years than I would like to admit, so I know the composition of the product well. Over the last few months, I have had difficulty finding my go to lunch favorite in the larger sized jars in my local stores. When I finally found a jar and purchased it, I was shocked to discover that there are almost no crunchy bits of peanut in the jar. It is like someone sprinkled a few peanut fragments into the creamy Jif spread. What happened? Please bring back the extra crunchy Jif that I love!!!

I am very picky with my peanut butter so I normally stick to two brands. I've also only eaten creamy and wasn't a fan of Crunchy. But this changed my mind and I've never gone back since, haha. It's Crunchy or nothing (unless I'm really craving it...)

Jif Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter is my absolute favorite because the added peanuts give every spoonful a hearty crunch. It's not just creamy and smooth—it has texture that makes it so much more filling and enjoyable. I love how the crunch balances perfectly with the classic peanut butter flavor. It feels more like a snack on its own, not just a spread. Whether I put it on toast, use it in baking, or eat it straight from the jar, the extra peanuts always make it taste better than plain creamy peanut butter. In all, this is the peanut butter I keep coming back to because it's crunchy, rich, and delicious every time.

The taste is good. My kids actually pretty this brand over others in a blind taste (although they could just be due to familiarity with this taste). But, the container is too tall. It would be better if they had a shorter container but have it come in a 3-pack. So, an otherwise great product is marred by poor company decisions on packaging. 4 out of 5. (If they changed the size, it would 5 out of 5.)

Jif is simply the best name-brand peanut butter out there, and the extra crunchy rocks!
