This is a favorite in my house my oldest son and Husband love the crunchy Peanut butter. The like theirs crunchy. I don't. They love the jif brand most of all! That's my go to any time I need to grab some. I usually have atleast 3 in my pantry at a time.

I am also writing with the same question as Lynchla, "What happened?" I have been buying Jif Extra Crunchy for well over 10 years. I bought a 40oz jar a couple weeks ago and I am experiencing the same dissatisfaction, very smooth and creamy with very little peanuts. PLEASE go back to your old recipe......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had Extra Crunch Jif on my grocery list, truly. This is the only peanut butter I like. I’ve tried other brands’ crunchy peanut butter, but they don’t compare. This is just the right mix of crunchy, creamy, and medium level of salty.

Always consistent in texture and taste, a staple in any home, Jif is a high quality brand with a strong reputation.  I have used Jif since my childhood and, though I have tried other brands, always find myself happiest with the flavor of Jif peanut butter

I love all forms of peanut butter, but the crunchy one definitely helps add some texture to my sandwiches! Sometimes I feel like regular creamy peanut butter can feel gummy in my mouth with bread and the text of this helps so much! Tastes delicious always!

I've been buying Jif Extra Crunchy peanut butter for at least 10 years. I bought a 40 oz jar a couple of weeks ago at Kroger. It is smooth with hardly any nuts! Very disappointed. Nothing like it has always been. Bought my first Skippy extra crunchy today. Please fix it!

Pretty good in moderation. Usually prefer smooth because if I put crunchy peanut butter on my sandwiches I am unable to finish it. But Jif does have quality taste and I'll give that to them for sure. Also, a pretty decent amount of peanut butter to use.

I don’t eat peanut butter a lot but when I do I want a good crunchy peanut butter. Jif Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter has tons of chunky peanuts throughout the jar. Eat it alone just on a spoon for a quick high protein snack. Or smear onto a couple pieces of toast with some Smuckers Strawberry Jam and you have the perfect PB&J sammie!! Yum!!

Jif Extra Crunchy has been the only peanut butter allowed in my house for years. Recently, I bought a jar that has virtually no peanuts. Perhaps it was simply mis-labeled. I see others have also experienced this recently. If this is what now passes for Extra Crunchy it will be a travesty, and I will be forced to try another brand.
