[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love creamy peanut butter and Jif is at the top of my favorites list. It’s smooth, creamy and makes a great pairing with apples! It’s low in sugar and high in protein which makes it nutritionally sound.

Two words that ought to sing in harmony: peanut, the humble, earthy legume, carrying with it the ancient whisper of soil and sun. And butter, the alchemy of crushing those nuts until their oils surrender, binding them into a spreadable joy. Yet somewhere along the way, industry intervened. What should have been a celebration of simplicity has been processed into oblivion. Oil separation, the natural badge of authenticity, has been recast as a flaw. To “correct” it with added vegetable oils, to whip nature’s intent into a falsely creamy submission, that, to me, is a culinary crime. Perhaps I am too rigid in my beliefs, too anchored to a purist’s vision of peanut butter. But here is where I draw the line. I confess: I didn’t know what I was thinking when I placed this order. The fault is mine, and mine alone. Now I must shoulder the responsibility of consuming this jar, spoonful by reluctant spoonful, until it fades from my pantry and my memory. For most, this product may suffice. For me, it does not. Oh, Smucker’s natural peanut butter (creamy or chunky; I don't discriminate, based on texture), if only Sam’s Club carried you.
